One of the better cost effective hotels I've tried in the Wan Chai area, which can be pricey. Solid across the board with larger rooms than you typically find in HK. Only downside is the lack of a restaurant. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is 5 mins walking from the Wan chai Mtr, exit A3. Eateries around hotel can easily be found as well as 7/11 store. It took us 40mins from the airport by taxi, cost arround 350HK$. It is a practical hotel, fast check in and out. The lobby is small, the room is also quite small in size, wish... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a show at the Convention Center. For the price of less than 100usd per night, I found this hotel to be good value. First off I checked in around 11am, they accommodated me and even upgraded me to a larger room. The room itself is perfectly fine for me, nice size bathroom with... More

Centrally located hotell on Hong Kong Island close to several dining and nightlife opportunities. There are no free shuttle bus from the airport express to this hotell, but it is located only a short walk from the Wan Chai metro station. Except for the bath room the rooms are quite small. Only glas walls separate the bathroom from the rest.... More

I got a big room at Iclub Wanchai which make me very happy to stay in there. Also good location, lot of restaurant nearby, night club, near by HKCEC......... The only thing is the bed not soft enough. I knew that some people like hard bed but I like soft bed...... Anyway, GOOD HOTEL in Hongkong !

This is my second stay in the hotel. Last time I was pleased with the modern atmosphere and the location. As usual, Wan Chai is one of my favourite areas to stay in for its local setting and accessibility. Tram stop is just at the door of the hotel and restaurants are easily found. MTR is just a 5 minute... More

Overall clean and the location is great since I was there for Art Basel. However the lobby and the reception area could use a bit of renovating. I also wish they could help get cabs for the guests when needed.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for seven nights. Our overall impression was favorable but with some caveats. Positives: excellent location, helpful staff, simple breakfast included (coffee, juice, croissants) 24-hour snacks and drinks available in the lounge, computer available in the lounge, super clean and neat room, mini-fridge, safe. Negatives: The biggest negative was the door to the... More

The hotel is centrally located and has a good service. The rooms are modern, good equiped, but are not big. The location is very good, just 300m away from MRT. It is suitable for business and leisure.

I'm spoiled. This hotel was actually quite amazing I must say. The rooms are huge. Good value for what you pay. Great lounge on the 5th floor I believe... But, no concierge at all. No taxi hailing for you, no luggage lugging -_- #fail If I wasn't schlepping loads of luggage and keeping my things in Singapore or the Philippines... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
