This is my second stay in the hotel. Last time I was pleased with the modern atmosphere and the location. As usual, Wan Chai is one of my favourite areas to stay in for its local setting and accessibility. Tram stop is just at the door of the hotel and restaurants are easily found. MTR is just a 5 minute... More

Overall clean and the location is great since I was there for Art Basel. However the lobby and the reception area could use a bit of renovating. I also wish they could help get cabs for the guests when needed.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for seven nights. Our overall impression was favorable but with some caveats. Positives: excellent location, helpful staff, simple breakfast included (coffee, juice, croissants) 24-hour snacks and drinks available in the lounge, computer available in the lounge, super clean and neat room, mini-fridge, safe. Negatives: The biggest negative was the door to the... More

The hotel is centrally located and has a good service. The rooms are modern, good equiped, but are not big. The location is very good, just 300m away from MRT. It is suitable for business and leisure.

I'm spoiled. This hotel was actually quite amazing I must say. The rooms are huge. Good value for what you pay. Great lounge on the 5th floor I believe... But, no concierge at all. No taxi hailing for you, no luggage lugging -_- #fail If I wasn't schlepping loads of luggage and keeping my things in Singapore or the Philippines... More

I stayed late December and appreciated the heater in my room. I also like the modern feel of the room and bathroom. I stayed in a business sized room, so it was fine for size and all the furniture is functional and modern. The cleaning is efficiently done and the wifi is good. Downsides are that the rooms are quite... More

I enjoyed my week at the Iclub Wan Chai, but don't think I would return. The good: The rooms vary in size, and I stayed in a very small room. It was quite comfortable because it was so well designed. The room had everything you need: a comfortable bed, dark out shades, a large shower with plenty of hot water.... More

Great stay, super convenient location in the heart of bustling Wan Chai. Hotel is clean, value for money, staff are polite and helpful, facilities and amenities are good. Will return again for a future stay

iClub wanchai has atleast two room types. One is the smaller rooms, it is quite small and only big enough for one person really, because it gets narrow and annoying to move around. Even though the bed is double. Now the trick is to pay 200 HKD more and you get a bigger room, and it feels like twice the... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
