We stayed here for 4 nights of our yer long trip. 2 females. Room was small but still really nice and bathroom was clean and in working order. Hot water and air con. Good location, opposite a 24 hour supermarket. 2 minute walk to the MtR station which will get you anywhere. Its on fashion walk so lots of shops... More

Be ready that rooms will be extremely small 2x2, the toilet is 0.5x0.5 and not so clean. If you use this as only 1-2 nights stays and only for sleep that's ok. Position is very good, very close to metro and Alley of stars and big malls. In the evening there are a lot of people in front of the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid Sep 2014. I had a single room ensuite on L9 (room 901; ground floor counts as "G"), and it came complete with aircon, wall-mounted flatscreen tv, free wifi, and a hot shower (includes dispensers of free shampoo, bath gel, and toilet paper). While the room was tiny, it was clean, comfortable, and cosy.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in a private room at the Comfort Hostel HK whilst on a city break in Hong Kong. We picked it primarily because of the very convenient location; you couldn't be more central. It's very easy to get to from the airport (we took the bus as advised on their website) and it's right next to... More

Location is good, near to MRT station, easy to find, near shopping centre area. Room & bathroom is so small, i know its typically in HK, so i cant complain. i booked 2 nights, first night is still fine. we're on the 16th floor and the room is soooo HOT, aircon is working but it takes several times to make... Stayed a night at Comfort Hostel in a Private Triple Room. I must say, the location is very good, just a few mins walk away from Causeway Bay MTR, bus stops and tram stations are just a few mins walk away. Upon check in, the friendly front office lady greeted us warmly, making us feel welcome. She also managed our... More

Firstly, the location is the plus. Its in Causeway Bay, which is 3 stops away from Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR station. The staff is helpful. There are 2 who manage the office. Therez a middle age guy and a young lady. They are both very helpful. They greet u with a great smile and help u in every way possible.... More

Small rooms, but bigger than the average for a HK hostel, average clean, helpfull staff.Location is great, very busy during the day, quiet and safe during the night, close to a wonderfull park.well,i am not a fan of this kind of accomondation but is the only way to stay on a budget in H.K. as normal hotels were very expensive due to the chinese new year.

I stayed for a week here. Love the location, convenient to travel around Hong Kong Island! Everything else is small, bed for two looks like a single bed, a small built-in toilet & limited space just enough to walk between the bed & the washing sink. Otherwise, it's a comfy place to stay for backpackers if you opt for privacy... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
