I like this hotel so much. Very good location, close to metro and walking distance to bus depot where you can hop on it to cross over to South China. It's also close to many F & B and walking distance (approx 15mins walk) to Times Square, Causeway Bay. Hotel room size was a little surprise to me as it's... More

I loved the Wan Chai location- close to everything, 5 min walk from MTR, fast and free wifi. Rooms are small but well looked after and clean. Very convenient. Will stay there again. The staff even got me a cab at 4am when I had an early flight out of HKG which was great service.

We found this was a good base for the price, well located to all the main transport links. Service was great, check in took a couple of minutes always appreciated after a long flight. The rooms were clean and tidy and an acceptable size for the cost in Hong Kong. There are places close by to grab some breakfast.

Convenient - 5 min walk to mtr. There are also ding ding or public bus that brings you to central and sheungwan. There are laundry services just 500 m down the road. Char chan tengs are also available within the vicinity. We grabbed a bowl of fish bowl noodle soup before heading to airport at 4am. Clean and comforrable

The hotel is very well located, near the subway station making it easy to move around, it is very clean and worth the price. It was a little noisy because of it's location but overall the stay was great!

Very clean! Walkable distance to Wan Chai MTR. Rooms are a tad bit small but that's normal in HK. No breakfast provided but it's ok because there's so many nice eateries around that area! Staff were helpful in providing directions to places we wanted to go too. There's free wifi in the room.

I booked last minute and was happy about the rate given the location and modern hotel. The room was a sardine can, but that was fine and I have grown used to this in HK and given the price this is normal. The staff were polite enough although I asked for a quiet room and they gave me the floor... More

This hotel is right in the centre of Wan Chai surrounded by shops, restaurants and markets. Its 5 mins from the metro and 30 mins walk from Central. Its not very touristy so you feel like you are experiencing true Hong Kong. The rooms are small and quite basic but clean. Few criticisms; The AC only seems to have full... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
