We (my son and I) stayed 11 nights altogether, in Chi. As most reviewers have said, very nice and clean serviced apartment (serviced everyday; and a very cheerful Lorna at housekeeping) very near to Yau Ma Tei mtr station Exit C. The apartment is divided into 4 separate areas: the bedroom, the bathroom, the lounge, and the fully equipped kitchen... More

Pros: clean service apartment. good enough for small families. close to yau ma tei MRT ( not too close though). cons: check -in is at 2:00 pm - not quite comfortable time if you come here by Air travel. there was only 1 person to attend to the whole hotel and he was missing most of the time. funniest part... We had booked our family room on Expedia and was happy with the price and location. Yau Ma Tei MTR closest station, Nathan Road very close for supplies/shopping. Pros: Location , price, size of room/bathroom Cons: Thin walls, check T& C's regarding deposit HKD We stayed 3 nights here and a HKD$1000 deposit was required in cash or c/c. Our... More

Very nice staff and a spacious room with a small kitchenette on a good location. The hotel is one stop from Mongkok (shopping). It is two or three stops from the centre and there are some simple restaurants around. The staff can help you to pick a real good dim sum (chinese lunch) restaurant

I wasn't aware that I have booked an apartment there. The wifi connection is simple and wonderful. In the apartment, they actually provided a handy smart phone where you can make unlimited calls to certain countries. It comes with data, so navigating around the streets of Hong Kong isn't difficult. Amenities in the apartment are wonderful. Also, the apartment is... More

We were expecting a small room and we got an amazingly confortable one! We were a family traveling with teenagers and they enjoyed having their own privacy at the living area. Big and confortable bathroom as well. The staff was always around and answered all our questions and gave us directions to the different places we wanted to go. HIGHLY... More

As we all know to get a cheap room rate in hong kong and sufficient space is so difficult , CHI residences is able to get us both at the same time. This is a family run hotel with a few locations around In Hong kong. The staffs there were welcoming, there was even a note address to the guest... More

We chose CHI 279 as it was only one of a few places in HK that offered a separate living area to the bedroom and a cot, which suited us with a 6-month old baby. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was well appointed with a great shower and very comfortable bed. Free WIFI also useful. The apartment... More

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 days during our HK trip in Mar 2014. The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. We had some problem with the air conditioning and they are prompt to come to my room to settle the problem. The location is great, within walking distance to the mtr, food etc etc. I highly recommend... More

This was our second stay at CHI: Pros - Great and warm service by Alfred and rest of staff - Clean and modern room - Excellent location (5min walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR, stone's throw away from Temple Street) Cons - Unstable Internet (was unavailable for the entire second/third day there) - Poor flushing system - Not value for... Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
