We were expecting a small room and we got an amazingly confortable one! We were a family traveling with teenagers and they enjoyed having their own privacy at the living area. Big and confortable bathroom as well. The staff was always around and answered all our questions and gave us directions to the different places we wanted to go. HIGHLY... More

As we all know to get a cheap room rate in hong kong and sufficient space is so difficult , CHI residences is able to get us both at the same time. This is a family run hotel with a few locations around In Hong kong. The staffs there were welcoming, there was even a note address to the guest... More

We chose CHI 279 as it was only one of a few places in HK that offered a separate living area to the bedroom and a cot, which suited us with a 6-month old baby. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was well appointed with a great shower and very comfortable bed. Free WIFI also useful. The apartment... More

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 days during our HK trip in Mar 2014. The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. We had some problem with the air conditioning and they are prompt to come to my room to settle the problem. The location is great, within walking distance to the mtr, food etc etc. I highly recommend... More

This was our second stay at CHI: Pros - Great and warm service by Alfred and rest of staff - Clean and modern room - Excellent location (5min walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR, stone's throw away from Temple Street) Cons - Unstable Internet (was unavailable for the entire second/third day there) - Poor flushing system - Not value for... We had a one bedroom apartment, although we had booked a studio. The apartment was very comfortable and secure and the housekeeping was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The position is excellent, close to the Yau Ma Tei metro station, a supermarket, Nathan Street and the Temple Street market. The free wifi was excellent. The only drawback... More

We've stayed at the CHI Residences before and didn't hesitate to book again, thanks to its great location. Johnny, the daytime manager, was there to greet us again - what an asset to the business he is! Although our apartment was different from last time, it was every bit as good - spotlessly clean, great wifi connection, complimentary bottled water... More

Just stayed here for 10 nights. We wanted a 1 bedroom apartment as we have a 2yr old. Brought own travel cot, but not enough space in the bedroom for it, so had to set up in lounge room. Clean, tidy, serviced daily, bottled water provided, free wi-fi, elevator, large shower, kitchen well equipped, however so many places to eat... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
