Stayed in Sunny Day Hotel (Family Room) with my family for 6 nights during our visit to Hongkong. - Location: Our taxi ride from the airport to the hotel took about 20-30 minutes and costed around HKD250. (Take the green ones from the airport taxi stand with meter fares) Hotel is conveniently located just 2-3 streets away from the nearest... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location is excellent. The wifi works very well. The room is fairly spacious, is clean and is comfortable. After two nights this place would have easily gotten a 4* rating from me and a recommendation. So what went wrong? It's the last night, it's 3am. We are sleeping peacefully preparing for a 13 hour... If you come to HK looking to spend every day in your hotel, you're doing it wrong. Skip this hotel if you're looking for lux and immaculate service. The big (read: only) drawcard for this hotel is its superb location. Step out the door and you're immediately right in the middle of the action. Within 50m, you'll find roast duck,... More

The entrance is slightly difficult to see as the door is quite small but it's just opposite Langham place so slow down when you see Langham place. Going up & down to front desk from entrance will have problem if you have seniors people or you have big & heavy luaages as we need to climb a flight of stairs.... More

Location is great, one block away from Langham Place mall (literally across from you), few blocks away from Ladies market, loads of shops and places to eat all within walking distance (even just outside the hotel). Great BBQ goose place just a few shops down. A/C blows cold, which was great in the 30 degree and 99% humidity weather. Mongkok... More

I would rather spend more to get a better room. yes, it has basic stuff that you need, well located, and room does look like the one in pic. However we were very very turned off with the room standard. On the first night, I was bitten all over under the comforter. As it was summer, and the air con... More

Stayed here for a few nights whilst at the hong kong sevens. Excellent central location! Absolutely everything you need just outside the hotel, food, drinks and transport. Clean, small basic rooms. No bar or facilities. Reasonably priced for my stay. Would recommend and stay again.

Staying in Mong Kok

Neighborhood Profile
Mong Kok
It’s one of the highest density districts in the world, so come to Mong Kok prepared for action. Home to every market, restaurant and shopping arcade imaginable, Mong Kok is the one-stop shop to satisfy all your shopping needs. Dust off your finest negotiation skills and dive into the bartering frenzy. Similar retailers will conveniently congregate in the same area forming easy to remember references such as “flower street” and “sneakers street.” Here you will also find various local delicacies being served at street snack shops or hole-in-the-wall restaurants. One reliable rule of thumb: the smaller the place, the better the food.
