The hotel is right beside Lan Kwai Fong und Mid Levels, but it's still pretty quiet. Can be noisy from the floors outside. Thin Walls. Very convenient stay, good size rooms for Hong Kong. Located 3Minutes walk from Central station.

Great location, good service, good price. The room is small. The shower room is super small and not very clean. The bed and pillow are acceptable. However, the walls are so thin. You can hear everything from outside. There're few hotel guests got drunk and back at 4am. They talked and shouted. If you don't mind the noise, here's the... More

Overall good stay. Location is amazing. Super close to restaurants and bars in the busy Hong Kong downtown. If you plan on staying in your room for extended periods other than sleeping, I would suggest another hotel. If you are sharing this room with someone, make sure it is somebody you are comfortable with as their is only a glass... More

Mini Hotel Central is a fantastic find for those who aren't going to be staying inside their hotel room. The location is absolutely prime, and the easiest way to find it is by asking Cab Drivers to bring you to the FCC: Foreign Correspondents Club. The hotel is the adjacent building. If you're on foot, finding the hotel may be... More

Yes the rooms are small, But that is clearly to be expected and if you just read one or two reviews and look at the pictures its to be expected, so we had no problems with the room size. Located just around the corner from Lan Kwai Fong and Queens road in a great area with lots to see and... More

Walking distance to Central station, the Fringe club is just right next to it, and just steps away from Dundell St steps&gas lamps. Love the hotel and the room(the lobby is cool)! VERY CLEAN!It's small but good enough (enough space)!.Plus it's HK, can't expect a huge fancy hotel room unless you pay a lot more for a 5-star hotel room.... More

It is really convenient to travel from the hotel to attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, and MTR! I would love to sit and chillax on the couch at lobby again..love the design and atmosphere. The room is perfectly my size..really mini like the name but exactly enough space to use. The hot water is unstable but at least the bed is... More

I visited Hong Kong as part of a transit trip - so we needed to squeeze in attraction in a 3 days stay. The Mini hotel is the best choice as it's a 10 min walk up to Central station from where you can take the MTR towards any destination, including Airport Express. It's also close to the bar/restaurants area... More

Very centralise hotel 5-10min walk to MTR however need to climb flights of stairs to reach the hotel. Travellers with multiple baggage won't be able to put in their Mini room. But other than that is a pretty hotel to stay in. Near wellington and stanley street which house a lot of good food.

This hotel is a little difficult to find. It's up the hill on Wyndham St from the Marks & Spender a couple blocks and then you'll see stairs in your left. Just at the top of the stairs you'll find the Mini Hotel, 38 Ice House Street. Do yourself a favour and go the other way from Duddell St, the... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
