We stayed 3 nights. No complaints except for that our room didn't have a window. Nice location, great lobby, clean rooms. Obviously the name 'mini' gives it away that the rooms are small. However, the price fits! I would stay there again for sure.

Rooms are small, but for one or two people with carry-on sized suitcases, it is comfortable enough. If you are Asian sized, you will feel fine. The bathrooms are big and comfortable. The room is stylish and clean. The hotel is close to the peak tram, lan kwai fong, FCC, the fringe club, and everything in the mid-levels, and central.... More

Small and clean.. if only for sleeping and have a good space to stay im highly recomending. Rather than paying a over rated hotel for nothing. Easy access to mall in central district transportation just around corner from taxi to mtr to buses and most of all near airport express.

I'd hope by reading the name of the hotel that you're not surprised to learn that it is indeed a mini hotel. However, for the location (Lan Kwai Fong) it was a good deal. If you are exploring Hong Kong you really shouldn't need to spend much time in your hotel anyway. The room provided what I needed: a decent... More

Great location close to Hong Kong station, the harbour, the IFC, in the middle of shopping and entertainment possibilities and in walking distance to the peak tram. The room was clean, the staff friendly. Just be aware, it really is mini. And overall, a bit less stylish than the homepage suggests. The pricing was fair. I would stay there again... More

Most damp hotel room ever. Condensation everywhere, mold everywhere, just gross. If I wasn't leaving early tomorrow I would be at another hotel in a heartbeat. Fixtures are rusted from moisture, towels were still dripping wet 8 hours later. Needless to say I'm glad we're leaving tomorrow. Don't stay here, location and price are great but if you're uncomfortable in... More

This was the family's 2nd visit to Hong Kong on Oct 2013 as a group that included my parents in law and their 3 sons with their respective wives and children. We stayed at Mini Hotel and by the name itself, it is a "mini" hotel. However do not underestimate this hotel as you will see the small rooms are... More

I've stayed there for two trips in recent months. The location cannot be better - it's smacked in the center of Central and any decent hotels in the areas will cost at 3-4 times more. Overall design is modern and pleasant (trendy really), and I always paid a bit more for a room with a view. It overlooked a historical... More

We stayed for one night. Having read previous reviews on size of hotel room, we left our large suitcases at left luggage at the airport & bought only an overnight bag. We got a little lost between the train station & the hotel, but once we found it, was in a good location. Staff were friendly on arrival. Apart from... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
