Don't be mistaken about the "mini" part, it is really compact living. However, the place is well located few hundred meters from the station and subway and walking distance to the Victoria peak tram. We really enjoyed our two-night stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Sure, the rooms are very small - there's not even a closet, so I had to leave my used clothes under the bed - so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to everyone (for example, I wouldn't recommend it to large families). But the Mini Hotel in Central is still a pretty good option for young couples or people travelling on... More

Great business hotel being at Central, near Landmark Shopping. Walking distance to great food, especially if you like Wonton Noodles at Mak's Noodle, or Tsim Chai Kee. Bear on the same row, with Marks & Spencer just around the corner. Hotel doesn't supply toiletries or slippers, which are available for sale at lobby.

Smallest hotel I've ever stayed at, the rooms were so so tiny! For me it was an overall good experience, I didn't really mind the size, even though it almost wasn't space for my baggage. My room was clean, everything was white/minimalistic and the lightning was great. There is a glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom, that might... More

I understand this hotel is called mini and it certainly is! The room is the smallest I've ever seen, we could barely fit and we are both slim. We could barely fit our luggage in the room!!! However we knew it was going to be small and as it was only one night we didn't mind. Until we got into... More

Mini Hotel Central is a great option for a short stay in Hong Kong provided you are a solo traveler and not too fat - because as the name states clearly - it is a Mini-Hotel. The standard rooms are compact. The sink, shower and toilet area are smaller than average. If you are taller than 6 feet - your... More

I walk from Central MTR station to Mini Hotel, and the hotel is quite easy to find. Mini hotel turns out can be accessed also from Wyndham street which is a famous shopping arcade on a steep street. Hotel staff is efficient and polite, check in is done quickly. The room is clean, neat and no smell at all. The... More

This hotel is what I expected. It's great for solo travelers since the space is quite small. There is not even enough room to walk around without bumping into anything, but the location more than makes up for it. If you place your luggage under the bed, it shouldn't be too cluttered in the room. They offer a hairdryer, towels,... More

Had a 4-day trip in Hong Kong, of which i spent 3 nights in Mini Hotel, Central. I would totally recommend this place as this hotel is just a stone's throw from LKF (where the main buzz is during the night). Located near many convenience stores and also having a vending machine right at their main lobby, it's easy to... More

Room is soooo tiny that we couldn't hardly move at the same time with my friend. There was no space to put our luggages.. I had my first panic attack there and i am not even claustrophobic.. Furthermore, there is no privacy as toilet and bathroom are seperated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Really terrible experience.. NEVER NEVER... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
