The Hyatt Hong Kong Sha Tin is a good hotel to see a different side of Hong Kong. The area is very green, scenic, residential and pleasant. The hotel itself is about a 5 min walk from the University station which is about 30-45 mins outside central HK depending on where you get on the train. In terms of the... More

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights on HOTWIRE. It worked out to be CAD $175/night for each room. From the airport, we took bus A80 to Shatin and then took a cab to the hotel. When I arrived, they offered an upgrade to 2 bedroom suite on the 17th floor. It had 2 king beds. The rooms were huge... More

I was actually impressed with this hotel, as although it was not the Grand Hyatt brand, the service and quality was just as good, if not better. When I booked the hotel, I didn't realize that the New Territory was actually a suburb of Hong Kong. A local friend suggested I switch hotels to somewhere in HK Island. I didn't... More

Hi,I have been in this hotel on October and should say that it is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. Rooms are clean, view very nice, staff friendly, food - great, no complains. On the other hand - if you want to spent more time in down town it might be a bit far away...personally for me... More

Interesting area on periphery of New Territories. Close to MTR for escape to regional attractions (or more distant ones). In fact, if you score an upgrade you get a reasonably priced hotel with massive rooms and easy public transport to anywhere in HK. I recommend the next MTR stop, Tai Po Market, for great local flavour and the local Tolo... More

Stayed here for almost a week in spring because of business. It is quite cheap in relation to down town Hong Kong but in the middle of nowhere (best is to take the train, 5 min to train station). Rooms are average, if you are not lucky that your room is facing the harbour side then you are pissed, you... More

Came to this hotel in early May,2014. Arrived late at night and check in took only 10-15 minutes. The rooms are fantastic in every aspect: Clean, modern, comfortable (beds, washroom). The hotel itself is extremely spacious with facilities as: Nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Small workout gym with machines and weights but dont expect too much. Good scenery right beside... More

The hotel is located near the University railway station. It is very convenient to go to town centre and To China border by train. The hotel has good security system. The staff are polite and always have a smile to greet you. The room we stay is at higher floor and has a very good sea view and a very... More

I used to love this hotel very much, nice and spacious rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price, but my visit last week has a terrible experience. The hotel has downgraded by its mainland Chinese guests. These mainland Chinese shouts and speak loudly at the lobby and sitting on the sofa with their feet on the tea table. Felt like I was...
