The place is not maintained, located in second-rated district, poor management, (esp shown up in a fire incident during our stay). Room too small. facilities in room poorly maintained. Except 1 full time staff manned reception in a small "hole", almost zero staff!!! Un-responsive to any calls.... Will not ever consider again - super over-rated !!

This hotel is locate in Tai kok sui, near mongkok station. You can walk about 10 minutes to the station. You can leave your baggages before and after check-in for free. The room have all toiletries. The check-in counter and elevator is on 2nd floor so you have to use the stair first.

Stayed for 3 nights. When I first got in I noticed the bathroom floor was dirty with hair and when I turned down the bed I saw sand ( dirt) on the sheets. I went down and asked the hotel staff to change the sheets and clean the bathroom. I stopped in later that day and it was still not cleaned. I had to asked 3 times during the day. Even with the help of Google Translate it still took 3 times. The staff did not speak much english. good location but VERY VERY disappointed with cleanliness. GO TO SiLKA WEST 2 BLOCKS DOWN. cleaner english speaking staff and concierge service like $10 more per day

The location is good and once we understand the coordinates, it is easy to move along using the metro or the bus. The rooms are smaller than expected but then compromised for the price. Everything is basic,wi-fi was a bit erratic, Beds were noisy though we had opted for the larger room. Steps are a bit steep to the small lobby area, lift is available for luggage. Only one lift is there for the hotel which can delay a bit. One can walk to the markets here specially the ladies market which is lively through the night and also the restaurants around the locality. Mongkok is about 10 minutes from the hotel

The Bridal Tea House in Anchor street is bit of a shoe-box, with very small rooms and equally small (very narrow and very short) beds. Double bed = 115 cm. Everything looks nice, the bathrooms are fine, the beds pretty hard. Cleaning, air condition and wifi work well. The problem is the noise, from the streets around and from inside (the elevator, people taking showers, air condition from other rooms etc.). The house is not soundproof at all. Location: busy, lots of people and traffic, but right in front of the house, there is a very nice playground for children + a sport area, where people of all ages exercise to Chinese soft music (can't be heard in the house). Walking distance to underground; 7-10 minutes.

After a bit of research, we understood that hotels in Hong Kong can be so expensive with not matching quality, and so, without wanting to pay too much, I didn't have much expectation for this hotel. However, I was not disappointed, if not pleasantly surprised! I knew beforehand that the room would be pokey, but the twin room we booked had enough room for our two big suitcases and us lol. And it was cleaned everyday. It was on the 7th floor, so nice view as well. While the receptionists didn't speak much English, they were polite to us. And it was convenient to travel as it was near two MTR stations (equidistance from the hotel), and you could see so much life in the surrounding Kowloon area. I wouldn't mind coming back to this hotel again! :)

Not that easy to get to coming off the A21 bus, get out at stop 6 from the airport, or the train, ride the Airport Express to Tsing Yi and transfer to train to Olympic Park. But other than that, it's not a bad place. It's small, the front desk is on the second floor, go up the stairs. The reception is just big enough for one person. The room itself is nice. Good A.C. TV was nice but only a few channels and none in English. Bed is what you'd expect in Asia, firm, but I slept fairly well. Toilet, shower separated and reasonably big compared to the room itself. It's quiet and looks fairly new. I paid $34 for one night here. My room faced the local park. In the morning, you can go across the street and exercise with the elderly of the area. In the evening, you can play basketball with the young people. My friend showed me inexpensive bakeries and a barbecue stand about a five minute walk away.

Pros Location wise is convenient to the MRT. Within walking distance. Room and toilet are clean and toilet is sufficiently equipped. For the (budget) price, the hotel is a 'stand alone' hotel with its own block of building. Most other hotels with similar price range are located in those big blocks of 'mansions' which do not feel safe and look a bit dodgy. This hotel felt safe. Cons The room (twin sharing) is extremely tiny. No space to open up your luggage other than on the bed itself. Beds are also tiny. Not a good idea if you are a tall person. Mattress and pillow not comfortable. Hard and flat. Room is dark (lights are not bright enough).

We tried to call the hotel to figure out the location in Chinese with the taxi driver before we get here but no one answer. I asked why when we arrive but front desk avoided. Location is about 15 mins walk to subway. Pretty noisy at night(traffics and playground) Good light in the room. Good size. Bed is hard. We went out and came back room smells like cigarettes and urinal cakes. Cleaning lady opens our room without knocking twice thought we are leaving but is 11:30am.

The location it is ok , near to airport bus station number E21 and near metro station . The WiFi it is very good connection . About breakfast it is just simple juice , coffee , tea some plate with english breakfast ( bean , eggs scrambled , butter, green salad , hot sausages ) . The room was small just 12 meters square , very clean , but have some problem with close window ! Unfortunately they don't serve breakfast to go because they prepare breakfast local .
