The rating is 4 star. But service is 0 star. No room service at all. You have to remind all the time for cleaning and water too. No breakfast. Nothing. Just go and sleep take your water with your self. Daily change of price of same room like stock market. They took around 2300 hongkong dollars per day. I was... More

The beds were comfortable though narrow (single bed). The room was smallish and cluttered with too much furniture (occasional table, freestanding lamp, heater and second chair). There was a hot water jug for making tea/coffee (if you took your own) but only 2 glass tumblers for drinking from. The room also had a fridge and a safe. The shower was... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
