We stayed here for one night in a twin room. It is a bit hard to find at first as it is inside the block in what feels a bit like a maze at first and the sign downstairs said it was on a different floor to our confirmation email (the confirmation email is correct though!). However, when we finally... More

To all those tourists going to HK for the 1st time, please avoid Chungking Mansion if you can, especially this hostel. I had first hand experience in this hostel. Me and my friends booked via hostelsclub.com a week before we were to set foot in HK. We booked a triple room with 3 private beds in Oriental Pearl Hostel (under... More

Seriously, the hotel is so terrible and horrible. Many foreigners stay inside the building and make people so uncomfortable. The cleanliness so bad, i and my friends felt itch when you sleep on the hostel's bed. at last, we all got the skin allergy due to the dirty bedsheet. Somemore, the bathroom is too small and unclean. The Overall opinion... More

The price is cheap especially when we book online through https://www.hostelsclub.com. The room accommodation and facilities just like 3 star hotel but shrink into small Asian couple size. Small but good for budget traveler who will stay in the room just for sleep. It is too difficult to get a cheap hotel/hostel without booking in Hong Kong. Too crowded city... More

Oriental Pearl is located in Chungking Mansions, big building in Kowloon with a lot of cheap hostels, restaurants and shops in. The dorm room was rather small and very low - pretty claustrophobic. It was clean, no bedbugs, with shower (and hot water!). There are no matresses on beds, just kind of foam (?), it's hard surface anyway. Notice that... More

We booked a 4 beds in a 8-bed room. Finally, they gave us a private room for 4 people with bathroom. The room was extremly small. Firstly, it looked clean but soon we realized it is not that clean. Definitely, the room had bed bugs. The best thing is its excelent location. The price was okey - comparing to other... More
