I stay for 3 nights. No Flat Screen TV as detail in www. No refrigerator and toiletries like other hotel in same price. Offering only towel with staff friendly. Suggestion for 2nd accommodation budget hotel in good location.

Booked at Agoda, because it was the cheapest hotel there. Good: the location- near the Harbour, museums, many malls and restaurants and MRT. The room itself was very clean, but it's like a prison cell, because you have no space. And the way to go there is a bit special ;-) BUT: you will not spend much time in the... More

If you book this Guesthouse with the usual Hotel search engines, you will get a very basic but "functional" room - more like a pod than a hotel room,(store you suitcase under the bed!) but en-suite air-con/fan and small TV. (Very Hot water) Oh and if you are over 5:11" you will not be able to stretch out! NOTE: There... More

A 5 minute walk from the Tim Sha Tsui MTR Station, for the money, you can't beat the location. Free wireless in the room and a working TV is a plus. Quiet enough to get an ok sleep if your really tired! ;-)

Although the guesthouse itself is relatively clean, the ChungKing Mansions in which the guesthouse is situated is a seedy dirty building. All sorts of unsaviory characters frequent the building and we did not feel safe. There is only one lift to the guesthouse. It can take max 4 persons. As a result, a long line forms at the lift. Sometimes... More

Do not expect to stay at this place. Just a bed with a small toilet with shower. It however is in the heart of Hong Kong. Finding it can be difficult but once you do it is a snap. Watch out for the hawkers in front trying to sell their products.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT (LIKE THE REST OF CHUNGKING MANSIONS) THE NEW CHINA OWNERS ALSO OWN A NUMBER OF OTHER GUESTHOUSES ON OTHER FLOORS WITH DIFFERENT NAMES. New China Yan Yan is the same as New China, so a booking with one may have you staying with the other. We stayed in a New China Guesthouse room, but... More

I've called this property (international call) twice to book a room, only to get a very bad attitude by the person at the phone who hang up abruptly. 1. She did not tell me the price of the room, not even after I've kept asking 2. She was impatient and quick, and hang up the phone while I was still... More

Arrived in Hong Kong after midnight, quickly browse internet looking for motels around TST area, got a small room 2m x 2m, paid in advance 200 HKD per night. Clean with 2 single beds and tiny bathroom with water heater. Going up or down by lift to and fro needs patience.
