Every room has a thermostat, which one would assume has the ability to control A/C and Heat, depending on the season. After a late check-in and before we slept, we turned the temperature up to its highest, and assumed the heater would kick in that night as we slept. I was awoken early in the morning to what felt to... More

I stayed here for 2 nights earlier this month. I got good rates online and it costs less than RM600 in total. The room was clean and spacious by HK standard. The hotel is just 3 minutes walk away from the Austin MTR station and 8 minutes from the famous Temple Street and Jordan MTR station. You will be spoilt... More

Great location very central near Kowloon airport express Building next door undergoing work but surprisingly quiet in room. However easily hear voices next door. One night neighbours banging on our door as have telly on, not on loud though. Beds really hard like rocks Rooms relatively clean. Some black mould in bathroom. No bathroom mat and floor slippery

Stayed here on a G Adventures Tour. Well presented place, pleasant small lobby only two chairs. Good storage of luggage, safe. Wifi was super fast and worked in all areas of hotel. Rooms were medium sized clean, with a nice small bathroom with a pretty decent hot shower. Western toilets with loo roll provided - even though it was located... More

My Mum, Dad and I stayed in a family room. The room was spacious for the 3 of us but the furniture was old and run down. The sofa lounge didn't look very clean and the beds were hard as a rock (even by Hong Kong standards). Thank goodness we were all so very exhausted from our travels each day... More

Final night hotel for three week G Adventures China tour. Intrepid group also stayed here. Pros: - Good strong wifi in the room and he lobby (especially appreciated after three weeks behind the Great Firewall of mainland China) - Room size is good for HK. - Location is not prime but convenient enough. HK is pretty easy to get around... More

I stayed here for the last night of a tour. The reception was bright and clean. There was aircon which a nice welcome but was on very high so if you stayed in reception for too long you felt cold. I had a room on the 16th floor, room 1601. The lifts came very quickly and the rooms are just... More

Nice hotel, room is decent size, a bit smaller than another hotel I have stayed in before. I had a corner room which was nice as it had windows covering two of the walls which made it light. Close to the mtr station and ferry terminal which was handy. Didn't use it but it is apparently easy to get to... More

The beds are VERY hard and you could also sleep on thr floot... Curtains were dirty of blood. There was an air condition, but did not cool down a lot. At least the linens looked cleen. Free wifi. One of the worst hotels so far in Asia.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
