Great location! Affordable! Right in the heart of Causeway Bay, one block from Victoria Park. Our room was tight but there were four of us, me, my wife and two small kids. We made it work. Rooms were quiet, didn't hear a peep from other guest. Welcome supermarket is right across the street, Seven-Eleven and McCdonald's down the street and... More

Better the 2nd time around indeed. Booking: was a breeze with online confirmation through email and bank deposit or Paypal at 10% of the full price. Service: Filipino national who has been with the company for 5 years and counting! Lilian also remembered my family from last year's trip, stating that she's Bisaya. All staff are courteous, very informative and... More

The location is the best in this place as everything is so convienient- food, shopping ,transportation all in one place!. The caretaker is very very helpful and nice. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable . There is a water refill outside the room and a microwave. The bathroom is a bit too small but sufficient. I was... More

It's my first time in HK and my friend booked us at Jetvan. It has a great location, just near A11 Cityflyer going to and from the airport and MTR Causewaybay. Rooms are adequate and clean. Price is cheaper than hotels. Will definitely book this again the next time I will be bringing my family to HK.

First of, I am a very long time repeat customer of this hostel, staying at this place about 6-8x/year. Under the old management, it was done right. The very same staffs were very courteous, and they were honest bunch. The location is excellent too. In the past year or so, things went south very quickly. They increased rate 3 times,... More

My family and I have been staying at Jetvan whenever we go to HK because of its great location - right in the middle of busy but fashionable Causeway Bay. Food stalls, boutiques, fashion walk - all within your reach from the budget hostel literally! It's just 5mins walk to MTR station, around 8 mins walk to Sogo and Wellcome... More

Let me just remind everyone, this is a budget hostel, not a hotel. It's just common sense that room and bathroom are smaller, and it's not as grand as hongkong's hotels' facilities like big lobby or comfy pillows or big beds. I stayed here 3x, I was satisfied except for my last stay. Location is excellent. Price is higher compare... More

This was my first trip to Hong Kong but I was delighted with Jetvan. The service prior to arrival was very good, prompt and polite responses to emails. The rooms are very small but plenty big enough for one person. I was just sleeping and showering in the room and found the room very comfortable. Bed was comfy, two pillows,... More

I stayed here from December 17-21 2010, and was very happy. Ann and Lilian are very accommodating, and tried their best to help me and my sister out...i used to stay in Kingston place just across Jetvan but since they didn't answer my email i searched for another hostel and came across jetvan. Rooms are clean, they clean it everyday.... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
