I was upgraded to a suite. My room overlooked the harbor. It was a beautiful view. There was a huge shower, a sitting room with a couch and a bedroom. Automatic curtains blocked out all the light and helped with the jet lag. The club is two floors and had a wonderful breakfast spread. This hotel was beautiful and had... More

Liked this hotel much more than the JW. We moved here after we had a noise issue at the Courtyard and could not be happier. Staff knew about our issue and gave us a suite upgrade, loved the decor, the views and the exec lounge! Highly recommended!

I would pick this over anything, as I have stayed at the Ritz and the Renaissance and it is just as good as any. In fact, I walked across the street to stay here from the Marriott. Great service, great room. Ask for an upgrade and you will get it.

First time to go in Hong Kong, sponsored by my company. We held our annual leadership training in this hotel. Despite the ton of activity that we did (Outdoors) the experience was overwhelming. The sights, landmarks, vehicles and infrastructure in HK are truly captivating and the climate is just supremely perfect. From accommodation down to the food as well as... More

Good location. We had a room on the 28 which had an amazing room. The bathrooms however are quite small for two people. Perfect for one person. Wardrobe space is limited as there were two small drawers although the hanging space is good. I would stay again as its a nice hotel, assuming you are travelling light!!!!

We stayed at the Renaissance recently as my husband was attending a meeting at the HK Conference and Exhibition Centre adjoining the hotel. We had booked through one of the accommodation websites initially but later found better rates through the hotel site itself, so it pays to check. We rebooked through the hotel website which is not as user friendly... More

Terrific Hotel with A+ customer service. I had some issues with the concierge making a mistake with my golf tee time. They made up for it by upgrading me to a suite and giving me a free ride to the airport in a limo. They were more concerned with making sure I was happy than making money off my stay.... More

Recently spent 5 nights at the Renaissance Harbour View while on holidays in Hong Kong. This is my 4th trip to Hong Kong after a 7 year lapse and the place still continues to amaze me. The Renaissance was in an exellent location, close to the Wanchai MTR (train) station and a pleasant stroll down to Causeway Bay for some... More

Stayed here for 6 nights while in Hong Kong for a trade show. I don't think I've ever experienced such wonderfully professional hospitality. These guys have it down. Everything from check in, to getting bags to the room, to service when I had an issue with the toilet (4 minutes from reporting the issue to have someone at my door...... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
