We stayed here for the new year's eve, so everything else was full (talking about cheap places..) and we booked here. What can I say? I suggest to find another place to sleep..This building was really bad, we felt unsafe and the room was quite small and not clean; the elevator was full all the time and you have to... More

They moved us from "Ashoka" to "Delta" on another floor, after demanding 100USD as a deposit, but would not give us 2 keys. Promised in room microwave, refrigerator, desk, seating area and bathtub. They never emptied our trash can or replaced toilet paper. No clean towels. No clean anything. They never changed sheets or swept.

A little surprised by some of the comments of other posters. You are staying in the Chung King Mansion..Did you bother to google it before your booked? Yea its a little high stress downstairs with all the people, and the building seems like a fire trap, but for the price I can't complain. The room I was in was pretty... More

If you are travelling to HK, please choose something else, this hostel is crap in every sense you could imagine, rooms, housekeeping, elevators, everything!!...even the entrance is scary. Hong Kong os great but any place at the Chung King Mansion must be avoided.

Chungking Mansion was like a home of the Bombays and Indians. You can see a lot of them in the hallway. And I guess everywhere. I'm not against them, but they were too many to approach you for a business talk (accommodation). The way up to the rooms was kinda messy, and a little too dirty. The smell was so... More

Hong Kong was our first destination on our travels and Chung King Mansions was the first place we stayed. The lifts are horrible, tiny and constantly packed. The rooms are like matchboxes and we had no hot water! If this place ever went on fire you'd have no chance as it's so big, the lifts take forever and the stairwells... More

I was sexually assaulted by one of the doormen. His name is Zoheb he is from India and he is a bad man. Please be careful if you are alone. Other than that my experience was good, the rooms are good, it's quiet and clean. I made my trip from China I had a good time.

We stayed at the New Chung King Mansion in 2012, we had a room with 1 double bed. The room was incredibly small but was clean, the main downside was the lift which took ages. The location is great, very central and we couldn't argue with the price, very reasonable. The staff were friendly too.

As a 45 yr old backpacking with my son this was prob the smallest accomodation we stayed in and least luxurious, however lovely people and had a whale of a time, not going to say as an oldie that I missed all the nice things of a 4/5* hotel but I had the time of my life and it was... More

I hated Chung King Mansion and all the pushy people in it. Location was perfect, but other than that...yuck. The elevators are always packed. When I had to leave for an early flight the elevators weren't even working and I carried my luggage down 7 floors in the fire escape stairwell to find that each floors door was blocked and... More
