Hyatt Regency is one the newest hotels in Chongqing, with spacious rooms and fantastic gym and sauna/steamroom facility, It locates right in the middle of a popular shopping district, BeiCheng TianJie, with top brand shopping malls and many restaurants all within walking distance. The staff at its Regency Club offer great service. It's definitely worth the extra money to book... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in April 2015. The location of this hotel is excellent. Very close to good shopping malls and shops in paradise walk. Near McDonald's, KFC and Walmart. Travel from airport is around 1 hour. Local taxi will charge 50 CNY and is much cheaper compared to the hotel car. I stayed in a king size room... More

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times when visiting Chongqing and it's quiet nice. Breakfast is included in my rate and it's pretty good but even though they seem to have a lot of food the selection seems limited. Room is clean but the carpets look old and the AC doesn't work so I'm always hot. It just... More

I visited Hyatt Regency, Chongqing in January on Business and totally enjoyed my stay there for 7 nights. I only faced one problem during my stay i.e. rooms were very hot. The staff provide special attention to my problem and took care of it. I'd recommend it to business travellers. Pros: New hotel, perfect location near to paradise walk, delicious... More

I have never been so keen in writing review but I think I should share my experience with Hyatt Regency Chongqing in the mid February. Background it was my second visit to Chongqing in the past four months and this time I intended to give myself a treat, as both a bday present and a new start the new lunar... More

I was in Chongqing for a business trip. We were put up at Hyatt Regency. The stay was lovely. The room was awesome, everything from the bed, to the toilet amenities, to the space and class the room exudes. There was a great variety at breakfast and I felt that the breakfast was worth the penny spent. You know how... More

This is a great location - just a few minutes walk from the upscale shopping plaza, in the northern district of the city, and therefore an easy trip from the airport as well. Inside the hotel, it felt like the generic 5-star hotel. I'd go to bed and wake up not sure what country i was in. The room is... More

Hyatt Regency, being a chain hotel did not fail it's promise in making my stay a comfortable one. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with great sleep quality. Great bathroom as well. The hotel is near shopping malls with plenty of food options. I deducted 1 star as i experience 2x power tripped in this hotel which can be... More

On arriving at the Hyatt Regency, Chongqing from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai and Chongqing airport, there is calm and serenity as you walk into the lobby and check in. The rooms are very good and worthy of the Hyatt moniker. Breakfast on the first floor is diverse with Chinese and western food in abundance. Breakfast in the much... More
