Centrally located hotel within walking distance of all major sites. Friendly/helpful staff with some able to converse in English. Upon check in we were informed that they had to charge 18,000 yuan as a security deposit to our credit card which would be returned upon departure. (they cannot take an imprint of the card as in Europe)Be aware of this!... More

Hotel is located near the Forbidden City (10mins walk) and the Wangfujing shopping area(10-15mins walk). The Wangfujing night market is just 2 junctions away. Hotel as we understand was built around the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It is a bit dated, in need of a refresh. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We managed to book a... More

Stayed here during the last week of May. The hotel was located about 5 minutes walk from the Wang Fu Jing shopping area. However do take note it can be quite a distance to walk to the Metro station, we took the bus to most places when we were staying there. Hotel was relatively clean and just about what we... More

Our stay at this hotel was ruined the evening we arrived. Tired and needing to sleep, we prepared for bed. When I pulled the quilt back, I could see stains on the sheets. When I made a closer inspection I realized the stain was actually on the under mattress cover. When I pulled the sheet off we found thick stains... More

This hotel's website and official photos will mislead you. In my perception, I think this hotel was refurbished for the Olympic games and afterwards it was never mantained at all. You notice in the design and decoration of the hotel, it seems it WAS a modern hotel not so long ago. But roofs, walls paints are in a badly shape,... More

Great location. Room nice and big, although in need of a good clean. Staff not very attentive. When checking out, greeted by Mr "don't have time for you as its my cigarette break", then seen to by Mr "just been on my cigarette break and now going to breath stale cigarette breath at you" nice! If you want a hotel... More

We stayed for 3 nights in May 2015. The Good: The hotel is located near Forbidden city which is the main reason why i chose to stay here. The rooms are reasonably ok for a mid range hotel and i like the open area in between the corridors. Boutique hotel this is not but its good enough platform to explore... More

This is a hidden modern jewel in a quiet residential area 1 block from the East Gate of the Forbidden City. The staff is very accommodating, the rooms are large and comfortable and well appointed with clean crisp modern furnishings. Bathroom had round fixtures, including a round tub for two! We were able to walk to many local attractions, ate... More

This hotel was easy to find, and close to so many great places in Beijing. I stayed here in early March , the weather was great ( cold) and polution was minimal ( clear blue skies on numerous days). I never ate at the hotel because there were so many places that are close to eat....tried Grasshoppers and pigeon in... More

Of all the Hotels we stayed in during a 2 week holiday in China this was the least attractive. The location is ideal. Close to major sights and pedestrian shopping street and street food market. The Hotel needs some tender, loving care. Our room was dingy. Curtains were kept closed because the external view was so gloomy and dirty. Not... More
