This hotel is used extensively by tour groups. It has basic accommodation, however it was clean. The reception staff speak very little English. The hotel is out of town, about a half hour walk to Tian'an Men Square and unless you're good with the public transport, getting around can be a bit tricky. The laundry service is VERY expensive.

Hotel booked through the tour company. As many of the hotels on my trip this once must have been a beautiful hotel but is on the decline. Our room was large and comfortable but somewhat worn. We were only given 1 small bar of soap for both the shower and sink. There was a cable for a PC but no... More

This is a hotel where lots of tours start and end, so a group mentality of guests prevail. Clean and comfortable, it’s a few steps-up from a hostel, but not high-end. Everything works, but some rooms are in better condition than others. Toiletries and blowdryer in bathroom, but could do with a full-length mirror. Plenty of hot water. The first... More

I have recently returned to this comfortable hotel two years after my previous visit. Nothing much has changed; the rooms are clean and comfortable (even though the beds are a little on the hard side), breakfast offers a good selection of western and oriental choices and the staff are friendly and helpful, even though for some their lack of English... Try to stay in the new building as the rooms in the old building are smaller. Booking .com says free WiFi in room but don't believe it. Wi if is only on 2nd floor and in the coffee shop. Restaurant is ok for breakfast but dinner is better just across the street in a small place next to a store... More

When we checked in we were charmed by the the lobby, that feeling was soon gone. Our room was so small we couldn't open both our suitcases at the same time. The bathroom smelled of mold and the entire place smelled of smoke. It was a warm day and our room was 85 degrees. When I went to turn on... More

I stayed for 7 days in this hotel. Location was good for it was near some of the main attractions. Bus stops and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is clean and with the traditional Chinese aura. The one thing lacking is the coffee in the room since I am a coffee drinker and all they have is tea, but of... More

Stayed here with a group for 2 nights. Rooms are nice and clean, so is the hotel. Location is okay but nog great, in the evening there isnt so much to do around the hotel. There is no free wifi, you can buy it for in your room. 10Y per day

I recently stayed in the hotel as part of a tour for a couple of nights. The hotel is reasonably located, if you don't mind a walk into the central areas of Beijing for tourist attractions and shopping. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. In room wifi is available, at a cheap cost, with good connection speeds. The hotel... More

If your with a tour this is a great place to stay. You can use public transport as there are nearby buses and the metro is about 15-20 mins walk, its not simple though. Taxis are an easier option and not too expensive (get the porter to help as you may get over charged) The hotel itself is of a... More
