Perfect choice to stay in Beijing! Excellent location - silently hidden in the authentic downtown Hutong, where mostly locals scrolling the streets in the evening. Surrounded with nice local bars, restaurants, stores, short walking distance from metro station. Helpful staff, great wifi signal, aircon in the double room, windows were facing to the silent backyard. Their trip to The Great... More

My amazing trip to Beijing was made even better by staying in this great hostel! My room was clean and quiet (with great air con - essential in the Beijing summer heat!) I was staying on the first floor and the wifi signal in my room was good enough for me to use Skype etc so no complaints there Staff... More

This is a wonderful hostel situated right in the middle of a very vibrant and bustling hutong, minutes away from the metro and great food places. The room was excellent, price was great but most of all what made this hostel stand out from the rest was the staff members. Unfortunately the airline had lost my luggage somewhere in Shanghai... Stayed here for 3 nights on way to Mongolia and will be back for sure. Staff are super friendly even when arriving at 2am in the morning. Location is fantastic with great street vibe day and night. Two subways within an easy few minutes walk. The accommodation itself is very clean, air conditioned and includes breakfast in cafe attached next... More

Friendly, warm staff, cheap beer, reasonably priced, and probably the best way to start exploring Beijing's hutongs & Gulou Dajie area. Beijing can be a really fast and disconnected experience if you just check into some hotel somewhere, but you meet a lot of people and really connect with a friendly and human side of the city in Nanluoguxiang. They have everything you need! Very clean, perfect size room, friendly and helpful staff. I can only recommend this place! A buzzing street with all sorts of shops you can imagine. Very close to the forbidden city I mean like walking distance if you dont mind to walk 😀

This is a great place in a great location! There might be hostels closer to the forbidden city or other historical sights but nothing tops this hostel in terms of closeness to a bustling shopping street and an abundance of restaurants and bars. In fact the pedestrian street it is located on is possibly one of the busiest in Beijing.... More

We loved staying here. We booked the superior suite which was still cheaper than other hostels and hotels in the area. The room was clean, the AC was great, the bed was super comfy and we didn't hear any noise from the streets or bars. The location is great for exploring the hutongs. The staff behind the reception desk were... More

It's a nice play to stay even for people who doesn't know Beijing at all. Took a taxi from the airport at night, got 3 places the same room with a bathroom. Nice place with internet access downstairs and cold beer available to enjoy on the rooftop. Good breakfast. Great Great Wall tour ;) Fully recommended.

They picked us up at the airport (for a fee, but well worth it!) We stayed in 3 different rooms due to my last minute planning. The best room was the one upstairs in the back, It had a nice, bright open area between the bedroom & hallway out. We stayed here because of the Mutianyu Great Wall trip. We... More
