I was a little nervous booking this hotel but it turned out great. Bedding was clean and there was free wifi. It is definitely a LOT better than the typical Days Inn you find in the US. Keep in mind there's really no such thing as non-smoking in China. The room was non-smoking but the towels all smelled like smoke... More

This was by far one of the worst hotels stays in my 21 days in South East Asia. It was 'cold' and 'damp' and the space was quite small. The washroom was nasty and tub was overflowing; and they took an hour and a half to respond to my calls. On the day of check in I felt like I... More

Great for short stay. Hard to beat the location, walking distance to wangfujing, forbidden city, tian'anmen square, and subway line one. We felt safe walking back to the hotel even at midnight. Rooms were quite small but clean. Most of the staff we met do not speak English.

Excellent location right next to forbidden city. Subway line one, get off at Tian' anmen east, exit B (north east exit). When leaving the subway, just follow the road. Then second road to your left and you will find it on your left hand side. Clean and neat hotel, although it felt quite old. Wifi did not work all the... More

Stayed in room 2306 for 3 nights with wife.Room Size was small, very cramped.Between table and bed, hardly any place to stand or keep luggage. Very unstable chair which was about to break. Hotel staff was unfriendly. While Beijing temperature went below zero, the Hotel staff refused to start heating system as their official winter started only from 15th Nov. Restaurant... More

Only the location is good which is 10-15 mins to Forbidden City and subway. Hutong is right next to the hotel and has some small restaurants. Room is not that big but we do not care. Not many staff speak English even the front desk. if you do not expect too much, you may stay one or two night for... More

The location is prefect, and breakfast is good for the price of only 70 yuan. Do not stay in the ground floor or in the cellar, the rooms there are humid. The staff was mostly helpful. But do NOT forget you passport (passport copy is not enough). Our friends had to sleep in the lobby (this is true) the first... More

Im not one to give a 1/5 very often but this hotel is horrid. I booked it online and when we checked in the lobby and grounds looked just fine. We were told we were assigned a basment room (this was not mentioned on the booking). We decided to give it a shot because really, how bad could it be?... More

We stayed for 3 nights. We had no issues with the huge clean room they provided us with, however; the staff at the reception is very unfriendly and no one particularly speaks any English at all! The breakfast spread was not really great with very few continental options. Overall, the stay was okay but I may not return back again.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our tour of China, though comfortable it was by far the poorest quality hotel we stayed in. The rooms are small, our air con unit was filthy as were the walls around it, my understanding is that these must be cleaned regularly to avoid disease! The staff were ok, not particularly friendly if... More
