Basic hotel providing basic needs. Price without breadfast so consider expensive but near wangfujing shopping belt n forbiddrn city tianman square. Also short walk in between two subwa6 stations. Watch out for illegal touts asking you for other hotel reservations. Ignored strangers while in Beijing is needed. General experience OK n environment is quite at night with good sleep. Internet... It was okay... Nothing special. Our room was very moldy and reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast buffet was good enough with made to order omeletts which were not bad but I would say to eat out because it is expensive when compared to other restaurants. I will say that the hotel is very convenient if you want to walk... More

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a trip through China. Location: The hotel's location is great for visiting Tian-anmen Square and the Forbidden City. It is also quite close to the Wangfujing area where you can find lots of restaurants and shops, and of course the street-food area. Expect to travel by metro for most other places of... More

Quite place despite being near to the main road. Walking distances to Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Wangfuqing. Room is clean and spacious. Located nearby along the main road is a place selling one of the best dumplings in town. Also located nearby is a massage place. Good for soothing muscles after shopping at Wangfuqing

Like any other part of Beijing, the area around the Days Inn Forbidden City Beijing is old, smells like trash, and the traffic is crazy, but the closeness to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square cannot be beat. It will take less time to walk to these two places than to take transportation to them and be dropped off as... More

This location can't be beat, it's on a hutong just off the main road half way between the gates to the Forbidden City and shopping/restaurants on Wangfujing. Reasonably clean and very good value. Front desk staff speak decent English and are very helpful for writing out things for taxi drivers and ticket vendors. The free wifi works very well but... More

We booked this hotel after having problems with our card, and it really was a last resort! The room we had smelt of damp and mould, we slept in it for one night and woke up covered in bites and sores! We complained to the front of house staff who just laughed at us due to a language barrier, and... More

The hotel is neat and tidy and well maintained. It is conveniently located in the heart of the city, so easy to travel to forbidden city, tiananmen square, summer palace and other places to visit. Overall a pleasant stay and value for money!

Located two blocks away from the Forbidden City and one block from the shopping district of Wangfujing. Very near to the Wangfujing & Tianmen East subway stations so guess one won't go wrong if your budget is within this hotel. Ask for rooms in Block 1 (seems newer to me) but be cautioned that its smaller in size compared to... More

Flirting with spontaneity, we booked the Days Inn via the internet on the way from Nanjing Airport to Beijing. Our taxi driver seemed to grunt in disapproval when we told him our destination but we couldn't tell at the time if it was an opinion or just a gassy lunch. Tucked away off the main road and walking distance from... More
