We stayed in a basement room but it was clean and what more do you need? You should only sleep there for a couple of hours a day. The basement room was clean and not too small with a shower two beds a bar fridge and aircon. There is a ketel and a hairdryer. Every day the room is cleaned... More

While far from spectacular, this is a very decent hotel at a very good price, in a really good location - walking distance from Tiananmen Square etc., as well as the metro. There are also restaurants and bars within walking distance, but you won't want to limit yourself to those when you have the capital of China in front of... More

ideal location for the first time Beijing traveller, its near the major sites and attractions, from the Forbidden City to the night market at Wangfujing as well as the subway which is perfect for exploring the city.

It's a budget hotel so one must have realistic expectations. I stayed alone in the room so it was just nice for me. Cleanliness and sleep quality are utmost important to me, and this hotel gives me just that. It's also very convenient to walk to the Forbidden City attractions.

Location is perfect, close to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen, National Museum of Chine and shopping street Wangfujing. I stayed 6 days there, in a basement room (narrow window close to the ceilling). Overall clealiness of the room was ok, but not perfect. The old carpet on the floor did not have a good look, but they provide free flipflops, so... More

The hotel is located less than two blocks for the Tiananmen east subway stop which is very handy for after you have seen the sites in old Beijing you can move on to other parts of the city. You can get to and from the airport in day time hours only on the subway there are a few station changes... More

It may not be the best hotel in town; certainly the staff in the breakfast area seem less than interested and two doors to the bathroom makes both the sleeping area and the bathroom small and confusing, but it is clean and close to the Square the Forbidden city and the local market and shops. On balance go for it.

The location is top. 5 min to the forbidden city and Tian’an Men Square. As well very close to the shopping street Wangfujing. The hotel is still ok but getting older and that can be seen in the room. The wifi is included but not very stable. So if you need a vpn be prepared for many disconects. After the... More

Basic hotel providing basic needs. Price without breadfast so consider expensive but near wangfujing shopping belt n forbiddrn city tianman square. Also short walk in between two subwa6 stations. Watch out for illegal touts asking you for other hotel reservations. Ignored strangers while in Beijing is needed. General experience OK n environment is quite at night with good sleep. Internet... It was okay... Nothing special. Our room was very moldy and reeked of cigarette smoke. The breakfast buffet was good enough with made to order omeletts which were not bad but I would say to eat out because it is expensive when compared to other restaurants. I will say that the hotel is very convenient if you want to walk... More
