First impression of this hotel was that the staff were super rude. When I arrived to check in in the early hours of the morning the girl at the front desk didn't even take her headphones out of her ears. After staying for a few days I came to the conclusion that the girl was probably super tired as no... More

Great location, 15 minutes walk to Forbidden city. Close to a tube station. Hotel was clean and nice. Receptionest spoke some English. XWi-fi available only in the lobby and not all the time. Computer in common area did not work well and printing was a problem. We had a romm in top floor. It was quite but you can hear... More

We moved to this hotel after staying at a nearby hostel. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel (for the price we paid). It was very clean, breakfast was reasonably priced. We had our own bathroom (which was a relief as the shared one we had at previous hostel was shabby) The location was great close to many attractions and... More

I came to Beijing at 6 a.m. and then I left at 9 p.m. The Kings Joy Hostel was my perfect solution. First of all you can check-in from 8 a.m. Then the shared room was very clean, quite big and had its own bathroom. All staff (especially the young girl Lucia in lobby downstair) were very helpful. Moreover the... More

We spent 3 nights at the King's Joy hotel, in a double room. The hotel is very well located in a pleasant & touristic neighborhood, a few minutes walking from Qianmen subway station & ten minutes from the Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square. The room was simple but clean and convenient. Breakfast was cheap (15cny) but decent. Most of the... More

This hotel is in a great location near the metro, and surrounded by Hutongs. Taxi had no problem finding it (which is a often a problem in Beijing). Walking distance to Tiananmen Square, shopping and a lot of great restaurants - both expensive and cheap options. The room was super clean. I booked a single room but there wasn't any... More
