This is the second time I have booked lodging at King's Joy for my school exchange group. The hotel has a fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City and about a 20 minute walk from the Temple of Heaven. The old Shopping District is only a block away, as well. The rooms are small... More

We spent 6 nights here while in Beijing, it is located close to main attractions, the subway/metro and the near by Hutong is a great place to have a beer or eat some food (many places will have an english menu and a few of the Hostels near by have good western food). We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant,... More

Front desk staff speak little English but helpful with prompt service for any amenities. Good little travel service located inside hotel very handy, rooms compact but clean, serviced well. Hotel located right near big walking shopping streets, Forbidden City etc not far. Convenient and adequate.

First impression of this hotel was that the staff were super rude. When I arrived to check in in the early hours of the morning the girl at the front desk didn't even take her headphones out of her ears. After staying for a few days I came to the conclusion that the girl was probably super tired as no... More

We moved to this hotel after staying at a nearby hostel. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel (for the price we paid). It was very clean, breakfast was reasonably priced. We had our own bathroom (which was a relief as the shared one we had at previous hostel was shabby) The location was great close to many attractions and... More
