We had a double room and it was great, lovely and cosy in December. Staff were really great, very nice and helpful and couldn't fault them. There is a great dining area on the roof in a glazed roof garden. Breakfast was basic but nice. Purchased food and drink (wine and coffee) during the day/evening was really quite expensive though.... The suite was beautiful and the grounds were lovely. I loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to a metro station and walkable to Forbidden City ( we walked there in December... brrr). Our taxi driver had a hard time finding this place. It's located in a super narrow alley way that is hard to drive through.... More

Staying in this quaint hotel in a small narrow hutong street was such a pleasant experience. The room was clean comfortable and great care was taken to the details. Breakfast in the upper room extension was a welcoming and refreshing experience. Overall great experience.

We spent nearly a week here and loved it. It gives you the feeling of authenticity because of its location inside a hutong, while the attentive and personal staff give you a feeling of luxury. We chose this hotel based primarily on the reviews here on TA and found all of the accolades to be well-deserved - and we gladly... More

We stayed in Beijing for 5 days at the end of our visit to China and staying at the Hotel Cote Cour was the best possible finale to our trip. The hotel is small in overall size and this allowed the staff to get to know what we liked and helped us with everything we needed. They were very knowledgeable... More

Such an excellent hotel to have terrible beds. I have to admit based on the photos I was a little concerned this place was over the top. But in person the rooms are amazing...even in lime green. When we checked in we received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. It was very well appointed and the grey brick floors... More

One of the most challenging thing is finding the place ... taxi didn't know where it was and once it entered into the hutong it was not so much evident since it even has no "hotel" sign at the door. Once you are there its a very interesting place if you are looking for something different from a big hotel.... More

It was complicated to find this hotel, literally at midnight on a dark and stormy night in June...we checked in and went to bed after a long, frustrating journey. So imagine how happy we were in the morning, walking out to a lovely courtyard, having breakfast upstairs on the outdoor terrace, with space and trees and an adorable, friendly staff... More

The cote cour was a most enjoyable stay - lovely rooms, quiet, fabulous staff, very keen to help with anything - when we arrived the young man at the desk ran half way down the street to help with out luggage. The rooftop terrace and restaurant are lovely, in the evening or at breakfast. Verry good breakfast. Highly recommended.

In the center of the Dongcheng District "Hutong" of Beijing and behind a simple wooden door is a hidden jewel, Cote Cour B&B. The architectural structure was once a great home and later a school and has been recreated into a charming B&B. Our room was adequate and the bath was very nice with a spacious shower and double sinks.... More
