Really enjoyed our stay here. great attention to detail in rooms and around hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows, good western breakfast. The staff were absolutely brilliant to us. Eddie, Sofie and Sharon were some of the best receptionists we've dealt with on honeymoon round world. Gave us bike for the day, organised great seats to acrobats, great restaurant tips... More

Only 3 out of 5 because we had to switch rooms due to a leaky AC. Such a hassle of packing up after only just settling in for the night! That said, it was great that there was a room available for us to switch to, if not we wouldn't have been able to sleep well that night. Otherwise, the... More

Located in one of the narrow alleys of old Beijing, this was an excellent place to say for our three nights in Beijing. It is not far from the center (Tiananmen) but in a residential hutong that gave you a sense of how people have been living in Beijing over the centuries. Staff was extremely helpful, room was quite nice... More

We found this hotel in TripAdviser and did not disappoint us. The hotel locates in Yan Le Hutong, near Forbidden City and Tian An Men square, though it is not really short walking distance likes European Mediaval towns, but compare to the size of Beijing, it is quite close. As the hotel is in small alley, hidden in residential area... More

A sensational little boutique hotel located within the heart of one of Beijings bustling Hutongs. The life and energy around this place is so welcoming and warm. A great set of staff, cozy rooms and perfect indoor and outdoor settings make this hotel a perfect choice for anyone looking for a place to stay in Beijing. The outdoor patio was... More

Staying in one of the dwindling Hutong areas in Beijing was such a wonderful way to experience the city. I could almost picture the days gone by with the families going about their daily lives in these Hutongs. In fact, you are staying amongst the locals here seeing daily life today and experiencing real city life meandering through the tiny... More

I can't fault this beautiful courtyard Hutong hotel and have already sent a friend there. the hotel feels very Chinese but the owner obviously has a designer touch. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, walking distance to main Beijing sites. I would have been happy to stay there for ever and not move to my horrible conference hotel.... More

The staff at the Cote Cour are attentive, thoughtful and provide friendly service. We had a bit of a mix up upon our arrival at the train station and the owner personally made sure that we arrived safely at the hotel. Over the top service! The 500yr old building is gorgeously restored with many intimate courtyards and rooftop lounging areas.... More

We stayed here for three nights, and could have stayed forever. The staff is SO attentive, literally walking us to local restaurants to make sure we didn't get lost. The building is the former residence of the court musicians, 500 years old and absolutely charming. Quite inner courtyard with a lovely pond in the middle, complete with turtles fish and... More

I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone. Everyone in my group said that it was the highlight of their trip. From "Jane" the friendly, professional, and beautiful manager to the intelligent, friendly, and courteous desk staff like "Eddie" I felt like I was treated like a family member or good friend come to visit. Every need was taken care of... More
