We stayed two nights in this delightful inn so we could show our friends real hutong life. This was the best combination of being deep in an old Beijing hutong environment while treating ourselves with a very comfortable room. We had Chinese decor and Chinese bed with air conditioning and a Western bathroom. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating... More

Peaceful with a touch of charme. Kind personnel, sometime helpful, sometimes not. Nice to relax in the little yards. Breakfast is tailored to western and Chinese taste and it's not bad. Can walk easily to Wangfujin and Dongsi metro, more complicated if you need a taxi at the hotel door as many of the do not want to go thru... More

Tucked away in a back alley, a highlight of exploring Beijing, you're near all the classic sites and fancy stuff, but in a classic rustic courtyard hotel in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay there again.

These people went beyond what was possible. Let me begin by how it started: A couple months in advanced I had booked a different hotel than this, but unfortunately I made the mistake of booking the dates wrong. So I cancelled and found this beautiful gem in the centre of Beijing for a cheaper price than the competitors. Actually it... More

Pros: Boutique property with character, authentic experience of beijing Hutong life, friendly and helpful staff, proximity to subway Cons: Lacking on quality of amenities, food and consistency of branded hotel Review: The room was upgraded and we enjoyed the extra big room. Will recommend for anyone who wants to do something different from the comfort of routine hotel stays. Something... More

Booked through hotel website but was directed to Booking.com. Was told to pay in CNY at hotel but once confirmed they immediately deducted the full amount from your visa - in your local currency which means you pay 8% more than listed room rate(+ tax). On arrival, hotel said Booking.com did not send them our requests for twin-bed room, and... More

We spent three nights here in May 2015. The hotel is lovely, with beautiful courtyards. The staff is very friendly, and a nice buffet breakfast is included. It is also very well located, close to the main sights and subway. The only thing to know is that taxis will drop you off at the main road and you have to... More

My sister and I had a nice stay in this quiet and friendly boutique hotel in the heart of old Beijing. The staff from the front desk to the kitchen were very attentive and warm. Even the driver who picked us up at the airport was most helpful in giving us tips as to where the locals go for typical... More

Sihe courtyard Beijing was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to experience Beijing. It's centrally located inside the 1st ring in Beijing. We walked to the forbidden city I. Less than 15 minutes. The Dongsi train station is less than a 5 minute walk. There is amazing food one street away (3 minute walk). If you're looking for... More

The hotel has a high rating on Tripadvisor but for us, it was quite disappointing. Our room was old, tired and shabby. It is down a hutong (alley) which is authentic Beijing but not quite what we had anticipated. It is relatively safe to walk down the hutong but a bit intimidating at night. Breakfast is basic, do not expect... More
