Recently stayed for three nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Situated some considerable distance from the City centre and in a fairly average area. That said it was more like the real China rather than some western sky tower area. The bedroom was large (in Paris it would have been made into three rooms at least). OK, but... More

We stayed here as part of a Wendy Woo tour. The beds were so hard. The furniture was outdated and the tv was very old. The room décor was so very out of date. The breakfast was nice buffet style and enjoyable. The rooms were quiet. Smoking was allowed in the hotel which I found disgusting in this day and... More

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. The hotel seems to be used a lot by tour groups. The hotel claims 4 stars and the public areas are well fitted out. We were in room 1211 – a very large and comfortable room. The bed was a king size and very firm – typical of... More

I stayed three nights here as part of a Wendy Wu tour and it was definitely the most dated hotel of our trip. Entering my room I was reminded of Russian hotels - dated, brown shag pile carpet (that hadn't been vacuumed) and strong smoke smell. Bed was hard as rock as can be normal in China. However I was... I stayed in room 903. It was very roomy with good views of the street. The shower was excellent, with lots of goodies for us females to use. I found it best to always ask for twin beds because for an extensive tour you need the rest without being disturbed by your partner, plus it gave you more space. The... More

A good hotel but not I the best of areas. It is just off the second ring road, but the surrounding streets are fairly run down, possibly in part down to the pavement repairs going on. There is a supermarket nearby, and two reasonable local restaurants. The bedrooms are fairly comfortable, apart from the hard beds mentioned by others. The... More

I see previous reviewers have questioned the location, but its just a 10 minute walk through safe streets to the main metro line, 2yuan a ride to anywhere. 5 stops to the centre. The hotel is large with security gates, the local streets are safe to explore. Next door is a supermarket, you don't need mandarin, just fill a basket,... More

Reasonably quiet location with local shops nearby. Staff helpful. We arrived too late for dinner and and left early in the mornings. Rooms were fine and a decent size, beds slightly hard but additional duvets available to counter this. Free water provided. Wi fi intermittent.

Décor is dated, beds hard, air con not the best. Still had a good nights sleep due to the tour activities through the day. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice. Star rating should be re assessed...

I stayed here for 3 nights. It has a grand lobby, nice room, great selection of breakfast buffet too, but it is not located near anywhere. It is indeed surrounded by small shops, though I'm not sure how we would be able to shop anything if we know zero mandarin.. So if you are with a tour group (that picks... More
