Reasonably quiet location with local shops nearby. Staff helpful. We arrived too late for dinner and and left early in the mornings. Rooms were fine and a decent size, beds slightly hard but additional duvets available to counter this. Free water provided. Wi fi intermittent.

Décor is dated, beds hard, air con not the best. Still had a good nights sleep due to the tour activities through the day. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice. Star rating should be re assessed...

I stayed here for 3 nights. It has a grand lobby, nice room, great selection of breakfast buffet too, but it is not located near anywhere. It is indeed surrounded by small shops, though I'm not sure how we would be able to shop anything if we know zero mandarin.. So if you are with a tour group (that picks... More

When we entered the hotel gates in the evening of the first day of our China tour, the first thing that struck us were the dark and desolate grounds. Used to brightly lit hotel premises in other countries, it did seem odd. But the lobby was well lighted and fairly well done up. Our room (suite actually as we had... More

This was our second hotel in China on a disastrous Wendy Wu tour and, in many ways, this hotel summed up the whole China experience. It is located in a shabby, run down area of the city many miles from any of the main tourist attractions. The surrounding streets are in a poor state of repair, making walking the area... More

This was the first hotel on our tour of China, The entrance looks ok at first but look a little closer and the flaws appear. I was warned about the beds being very hard. They were hard but the three days we had there were so busy, I for one had no trouble at all sleeping, so the hard bed... More

Our first hotel in China as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Bed is definitely harder than we were used to but the addition of a doona underneath the bottom sheet made sleeping easier. Once we figured out how to properly set the room Aircon control, the air temperature was OK. The room may have been advertised as Non-Smoking but... More

Our second hotel in China, this bed was exceptionally hard - just like sleeping on the floor. Housekeeping, however, provided us with three spare duvets to put on the mattress. I folded these into 3 and then in half to just cover the shoulder to hip area, this gave us 6 extra layers each and one over the top. This... More

This was the second stay on our Wendy Wu tour. The hotel room was very hot with no air-con available. The bed was extremely hard, virtually a wooden plank, though the rooms were spacious enough. The hotel was in a grubby area though there was a reasonable convenience store very close. Breakfast was OK with a good variety both Chinese... More
