This was a our first hotel on a three week trip to China with Wendy Wu. We had a pleasant stay, the local restaurants were fine. Our room was very cold but were given extra blankets, other people's rooms were too warm, it depended on which side of hotel you were on.

On a Wendy Wu tour (Great tour) we stopped at this Beijing hotel. It is clean, well laid out and had a great restaurant with Western Breakfast. Don't expect bellman services. Beds are rather hard so request a couple of duvets to sleep on top of for extra comfort. We did like the hotel but is a bit isolated. We... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour of China on our first morning I exchanged pounds for Chinese Yen at the hotels desk, later that day when I went to pay for a drink the 100 yen note was fake, our tour guide and I checked the rest of my notes there were 3 more fakes, on... More

Once you manage to get in via the revolving doors, which like to stop every few seconds, you are greeted by a large marble foyer, in front of the doors is a fish pond, and then the entrance to the restaurant. to the left is the reception desk, there is a bar which has reasonably priced beer. When having breakfast... More

This was the last Hotel we stayed at on our tour with Wendy Wu . The bed here was very hard, still managed to sleep as we were doing so much during the day you got used to it. If this was the first hotel I would have been wary about the rest of the trip. By choice I would... More

First visited this hotel in 2009 with a tour group, and it looks great when you enter the foyer. But the rooms don't look much different 6 years later - the standard lamp still doesn't work and leans like a tired old tree. Still the room was large and bathroom good. The staff don't speak much English but did try... More

The hotel is comfortable, although as the starting point for our trip to China this was our first experience of their rather firm beds - we did get used to it and they are probably much better for those of us with dodgy backs! The staff were pleasant, although not much English is spoken and the area around the hotel... More

The bed is super hard, I mean I will think positive that is good for my back otherwise you will have horrible sleep. The front office staff cannot speak English, it's very poor. One time they charge my guest twice laundry service because when staff shifting, the previous staff did not tell the next staff that we already paid. This... More

Warm reception from staff and good facilities In room. Very comfortable bed and excellent equipped bathroom. Very handy for lots of sightseeing and we found many great shopping opportunities very near to the hotel. Able to buy local beer most inexpensively from local hole in a wall seller!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of Wendy Wu tour. The hotel is 4 stars and we stayed in room 1116, with twin king size single beds which were on the hard side but still comfortable. The room was well appointed with 2 large armchairs to relax in. Bathroom was a decent size but average. Service was very... More
