The hotel was in an interesting location...the street outside the hotel comes alive at night with various outdoor eaterys and unique places to see which felt like the real Beijing . The location is not far from the subway as well. The hotel itself is clean but the rooms were warm and wouldn't cool. Rooms were small but comfortable. The... More

Nice hotel, spend our first days in china here. Room was okay, hotel look nice, location was good, near Beixinqiao metro station. The staff's english could be better, we missed our breakfast because of miscommunication about the time. Overall: nice hotel

The hotel is in a very narrow lane and surprisingly does not have car parking Two chinese rest open up in the evening opp to the hotel and consumes all the pace on the road The rooms have cracks all over and ac is not effective at all The only positive feature is the breakfast spread which is good and... 3 star Hotel Hua Qiao Beijing is located in popular area Hou Hai. We stayed here only 3 nights with breakfast. Standart of service, nice atmosphere, cleanliness good, tasty food, rent umberellas for refundable. Around the hotel are numerous restaurant and shops.

Comfy room. Nice breakfast. Friendly helpful staff (but then everyone is friendly in China!). A quick walk to the Lama Temple. 15 minute walk to Dongzhimen subway (major transfer station including direct line to airport). Difficult to access by car but then why bother? The tiny alley in front is a BBQ sampling road with everything you could possibly want... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel, and I can say the published images do not correspond to the actual state. First of all, the hotel is in a small and jammed alley that the bus drivers hate, so we were forced to carry our own luggage from the main street to the hotel door. The bathroom was full of... More

Maybe it's just everywhere I have been but clearly the Chinese do not know how to do customer service. I have stayed here for 2 reasons only and that is the location and it's fairly cheap if you book online. My room is tiny and the air in does not work the walls could do with a paint job. The... We also stayed here in 2012, and in the two years since, the hotel is in decline. They ARE renovating, so when they are done.... The hotel is cheap, dirty, smelly, relatively good shower in a dark, dank bathroom. I know it's cheap, and you do get what you pay for. A/C and Mosquitos: The A/C (typical of cheap hotels... More

I can't really complain. After living in China for almost six years, I knew exactly what I was going to get at this price point. The carpet looked like a massive Rorschach ink blot, the paint on the walls was multi tone in spots and just filthy in other spots. The breakfast was over priced for China and extremely local... Beijing like many large Chinese cities have tons of alleyways. This place is in the middle of one. It is within walking distance to the subway and close to Ghost Street. The alleys comes to life at night with numerous small eateries. Some specializing in seafood and others is Beijing BBQ. There is a well-known roast duck restaurant (Hua's Restaurant)... More
