This hotel has a great location being within walking distance of the Forbidden city and also close access to the metro. The taxi driver couldn't find this hotel and took us initially to the Novatel Peace Hotel. We stayed at this hotel in March this year for about 10 nights. For the money you pay for it, this hotel is really nice. Excellent location but really a hotel designed for locals. Probably a little more upmarket than a backpackers. Didnt dare eat at the restaurant however many locals did.
