I stayed in other regent hotel with good impression - however this one is extremely disappointed and I won't consider it next time when I am in Beijing. Front desk people is not professional and attitude is extremely poor. Although they upgraded me to higher grade room but I don't really feel respect from them. I won't consider that hotel... More

The location is fantastic. It's right next to a subway station, close to a lot of the key attractions and a short walk to the main shopping street. The rooms are very nice but the first room I was given was fairly noisy due to street traffic. The second room was on a high floor overlooking a 'hutong'. Although advertised... More

We stayed in the Regent during a three day trip to Beijing as a break from an Asia cruise. All I can say is Wow. We loved everything about this hotel: wonderful view, great amenities and one of the best hotel bathrooms I have ever seen. There is nothing that we could fault with the Regent and highly recommend it.

This is an excellent value five star hotel at the heart of Beijing. It isn't as international as some of the others, full of Chinese, aircrew and a smattering of foreign visitors, but all the more interesting for it. The location is great just a kilometre from the Forbidden City and near the main shopping drag. Rooms are large, well... More

Stayed here three nights, loved it. Great happy hour in bar, breakfast buffet lovely. Walking distance to pedestrian mall, shopping close. Rooms were spacious, nice garden area. Downtown, close to Forbidden City. Friendly staff. Beds excellent. World class accommodations.

This was the first time my husband and I had stayed in Beijing, however we have been lucky enough to stay in other 5 star hotels in Asia and elsewhere. In comparison to those, The Regent just scrapes an average rating. The shame is that most areas where they fall short could be fixed quite easily, if they wanted to...... More

We stayed here at the end of our Viking River Cruise. One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. Great service, great location. Walking distance to shopping and dinning. ...including an Irish pub Molly Malones....ready for a burger and a cold beer after a long trip.

We booked a vacation to China and Thailand for our honeymoon. Our travel agent recommended to hotel since my husband and I prefer luxury accommodation. We arrived around 3am at the hotel, no one helped us retrieve our bags from he car, even though there was staff at the entrance to he hotel, but they seemed to occupied with their... More

Beijing is not the most friendly city in the world. Somethings could be not nice at all: smells , spits on the street, very noisy people, but they have great attractions which is worth every second spent in the city . Regent Hotel is an oasis into the city, because smells like lemongrass, has the most comfortable bed that i'd... More
