Compared to other hotels in China, this one was relatively clean (although the cleaning personnel is quick and superficial). The toilets and showers are new. Unfortunately, the internet connection is practically unusable. In most cases, the signal is too low, or it is impossible to establish a connection. Even in those cases when you manage, the speed is annoyingly slow... More

I stayed at the building #9 which is the VIP building and it does fit the western standard description. The room was quite large with everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel and more. However, lots of little things were a turn off such as air conditioning system that is fixed at 24C and you cannot do anything... More

Stayed there with my parents for few nights. The hotel location is pretty good. Got U-Center, the shopping mall near by, subway station yellow line 'Wudaokou', few great restaurants. The room is okay. Not so big but got everything you would need for your stay; toiletery, hair dryer, air conditioner (which is also heater in winter), kettle, coffee & tea... More

Stayed one night during a business trip. Location is great for Tsinghua University and it is walking distance to the subway. The rooms were a little small, decently clean but a little too warm for my taste. Check in was fast and staff were all friendly but could do with some extra touch of service orientation. My main disappointment was... More

The hotel is situated in Wudaokou and is right next to the Beijing Language and Culture university. It's just a few steps away from the shopping mall, movie theater, and subway station. Besides its convenient location, its service is rather poor. Only one or two receptionists could speak English which made it so much harder for us to communicate. Their... More

Stayed for 5 nights in the "executive suites", building 9, for an international conference at the hotel. Beds were very hard, there was mildew in the shower, and maid service was sometimes good sometimes bad. Wifi worked well, but my TV did not work. Colleagues in separate rooms had non-working air conditioning and a safe that malfunctioned. Room was very... More

Clean and quiet room. Service was excellent. As in all of China it was difficult to find anybody that spoke any language but Chinese! I speak 4 and none of them did help! Restaurants were close by. Reasonably priced and reservation was handled well and without problem. Staff was friendly and helpful. In all of China the people try their... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the Xijiao as most reviews seemed inconclusive. The complex was unexpectedly large with 4 or 5 hotel buildings, conference facilities, and several restaurants on site. We stayed in the business rooms and they were clean and well provided and the bathrooms were nice. Not a huge suite by any means, but nice. The beds were... More

Good Impression overall but too loose in service on requests for shortfalls in the Hotel room. Location is perfect for commuting to various places in the the city center & shopping malls. Room Service knows no English. Hot water in the bathroom needs a wait of 15 mins ..then comes the luke warm water. Not a good option for long... More

Like many other writers, I stayed at the hotel for a conference. So, I did not choose it. The hotel is a bit confusing initially because it consists of a number of buildings not always well marked. For example I was in building 3 but I had to enter through building 2 and this was not explained to me initially.... More
