Stayed here with my middle son (9yrs) and my parents (70 yrs) here for 6 nights in april 2015. The Hotel isn't all that and tends to be a bit worn and had some issues with the seversystem/waterlocks. But if you'r not too picky its really good value for the money. Would recommend uppgrading the room, though. The things we... More

This hotel is a fair way from the Metro (DONGSI), plan your walking route using Google before you leave for China or use maps.google.cn if you are already in China or you may struggle to find it. You can also take buses 103 or 109 for one stop (a long way in China!!) from the bus stop to the right... More

The hotel itself was a little walk away from the metro. We had read on TripAdvisor that the hotel was hard to find, so we marked it on our map in advance and still nearly managed to miss it! I don't think Google Maps is able to access the smaller roads in China! When checking in, the receptionist requested payment... More

Within walking distance to most of Old City sights, and local street stalls sell freshly cooked dumplings, soups and snacks. Several restaurants on same street with English menus. Hotel room was as advertised, and staff were helpful with limited English.

The location of the hotel is great as its around a 10min walk away from the forbidden city, train station is nearby & the town centre is walkable once you know the route. The staff don't know English much so use their phones to translate things to you but do try their best to help. I would say to take... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a room with no window and without breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean with dim lighting. The hotel is in a great location with lots of shops, local vendors and Chinese eateries on the street. However, the reception staff were not very helpful. We had to check out at 12pm... More

Very comfortable room. Not elegant but very comfortable. Front Office and Staff were very helpful. They waited in Airport for 2 hrs when our flight was delayed and din't charged any thing additional. We were able to walk to the main attractions and really enjoyed the small little restaurants on the street of the hotel especially for a traditional Chinese... More

This hotel was very comfortable. The Hotel staff was nice but did not speak very good english. It is very close to the Forbidden city but behind it, so you will have to walk a distance to get to the square. It is not close to the metro but is a minus in my books. The taxi drivers at the... More

This was an absolute bargain find, and in hindsight was possibly the best situated hotel you can find in Beijing. When you arrive for the first time you will find it almost impossible to find. Many hotel websites do not list it correctly, however Tripadvisor shows it correctly. It is down a road almost directly opposite the Eastern exit of... More
