A monstrosity of a building with no aesthetic appeal. The rooms are old and shabby, staff do not speak English well and smoking permeates all floors, including the so-called non-smoking floors. The hotel is not used to dealing with foreign guests so best to look elsewhere unless you speak Mandarin. I was here as part of a group so did... More

This was once a very lovely hotel, but is showing signs of age. service for English speakers is limited. Rooms have no air conditioning, windows open slightly so not great for air circulation. Stains on carpets throughout the suite. rooms are large and will equipped. request for additional wine glasses was a fight but eventually arrived. Staff are friendly and... More

The hotel is very good. If want non smoking floors ask for it. The non smoking floors are up to 10th floor. Rooms are very ckean and big. Free Wi Fi. Computer in every room as well. Breakfast is perfect. Exchange money rate is very fair. Staff is very kind but almost no English speakers. Gym room… no or very... More

This hotel was a good stay, the service at breakfast was great and they had plenty of staff to refill my coffee and take away dirty plates - the only downside is that the rooms needed updating but they where clean. The beds however are too hard - don't try to jump into bed as you will have a shock... More

Overall, the place is pretty good. Room (superior king) and bathroom were very nice size. Very nice pool area. Buffet too expensive (~$23/person). Was slightly overcharged for great wall tour, but the hotel was great in making up for it in compensation and free amenities. Also, the management was very helpful and worked hard to help me when I had... More

On entering the building you notice straight away how cold it is, reception staff friendly, our room was fine but it did not have a tub and the corridor was very noisy with children running around at 6am, also music is played from 8am to 10pm in the corridor which after a long day you may not necessarily want to... I stayed at this hotel as reviews were fairly good. But I must say that it's not a 4 star hotel. It may be 4-star by Chinese standard, but you should know that this isn't other international 4 star hotel chains. Staff wasn't able to communicate with visitors from outside China and asking for a small thing was became such... More

Lovely 5* hotel, close to local amenities including a night market which was 15 minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice and almost every items, except toiletries, will be charged at cost if you remove them from the hotel.. Breakfast was excellent - good western and eastern cuisines. The only... A fairly typical major city hotel. Little to fault it. Good service, good food and large, clean rooms with all the facilties you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We thought the location good, situated on a road that boasted a large number of luxury car showrooms and high end fashion stores. A 15 minute walk took us to... More

We stayed in the hotel during our trip in Beijing. We had a nice room, clean and neat, including free wifi and an inroom computer. Kind staff, although the travel agent at the hotel couldn't speak one word in Englisch. Ok location, but not very close to public transport. Tip: you can hire bikes at the hotel for free, very...
