Overall a very good experience. Rooms are huge, beds enormous, everything is exceptional clean, the staff couldn't be more helpful. And breakfast is good (I recommend the Korean pancake, if it's still there). There are only two down points: firstly, as the name suggests, the hotel is in the financial district, so a bit out of town if you're planning... More

We accompanied my husband on his business trip and were fortunate enough to stay at this hotel. Close to the MRT to bring you to the eg Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. Club rooms are huge but the most exceptional were the very helpful and skillfull concierges who helped finalize organization of our budget (!) hotel near Luoyang. Absolutely... More

I went on a business trip to Beijing at the end of June and spent two nights at this hotel. It was a nice hotel, well equipped and well maintained. I also used the swimming pool, which was small but adequate for a business hotel. One afternoon, I needed a taxi to go to a meeting. As soon as I... More

I am a Platinum Ambassador - formerly a Royal Ambassador and this is the worst Intercontinental Hotel's that I have ever stayed at. They paid zero respect to me and in fact treated me very poorly. I was traveling with a guy that was Royal Ambassador who they did pay some attention to, but me as a lowly Platinum Ambassador... More

The hotel is definitely a winner if you need to be in the area and have a car. Location wise, it's right on the financial street with a lot of offices in the area. However, there's not much to see within walking distance. The fact that it was 41 degrees celsius outside when I was there didn't help at all.... More

Having stayed in the best Intercon ever (Intercontinental, Ho Chi Minh) only 10 days previously, I was bought back down to earth with a tremendous bump when I arrived here. Being somewhat elderly, after 2 days travelling I realised I'd booked the hotel for one day later then planned, but on arrival, after a brief explanation of my stupidity, all... More

I've spent 3 nights at the Intercontinental Beijing and I can say the overall experience has been positive. Large room with a comfortable big enough and fully equipped barhroom. Very comfortable king size bed. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was wuperb combining both western and Chinese cuisine, and also one of the restaurant I had... More

The hotel was selected due to proximity to the place where the business meeting had to take place. Check in took some time. I needed WiFi access and reception had this as an opportunity to sell me upgraded Club room (extra cost of 500 RMB a day). When I rejected they issued me a loyalty card that somehow gave me... More

Stayed at the hotel for four nights for a business trip back in Nov. It was freezing in Beijing back then and the heating in the hotel was poor. Maybe its because I'm not very used to the cold but it was indeed very cold for me in the hotel room every night. The room is a bit dated but... More

So far I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and the Westin in the Financial Street area. Both those hotels usually are more expensive, and on this trip I did wish to pay such high pricing. I however needed to be in the Financial Street area, and chose the InterContinental. I was given a room on a club floor, which meant... More
