This hotel is to pricey. It charges you a four star price for 2 star quality. They advertise that they have English speaking staff but they don't and the one that does has horrible people skills treating my mom like garbadge when her credit card didn't work which was because he swiped it rather than use the chip. The price... More

Pros :location , near subway , there are restaurants, Starbucks around , a fancy mall across the street . No convenient store near by . Cons: old hotel , small dark room, couldn't get the room temperature higher than 20c, a bit chilly for me .

Based on comments my colleagues had made & reviews on TripAdvisor I was dreading staying at this hotel during my business trip to Beijing. Fortunately I need not have worried. The hotel itself was OK. Here's a few comments I would make: The room smelt of smoke. I got used to it in the end but it would be better... More

Hotel booked for me by my Chinese associates. An older property that could use some serious updating. Staff was courteous and efficient. Breakfast buffet was average, but did have sushi which is a plus.

I stayed there with my family when we visited Beijing for 2 weeks. On our arrival, we had to add around 30-40% of the price we booked the room to have a decent room. The communication with the staff is very difficult to almost impossible as almost none are speaking a decent english. However some will try their best to... More

I stayed here for a last minute business trip. Two nights, and I was exhausted by the time I got there. Beijing traffic, as any previous visitor knows, is a nightmare, and I was eager to get to my hotel, throw my stuff on the floor and just lay down. In short, cons: - NO WIFI in any of the... More

Not because the hotel is good however, but because the hotel has slapped some new decoration in the rooms and thinks that is enough to cover up what ties beneath. The refurb can only be max one year old and already the carpets are stained horribly, the mattresses are like boards, no foreign TV channels (that I could find). Bathrooms... More

My first room was small and not that clean. It was also uncomfortably hot at 31 degrees. I complained and was moved to a room with two doubles on the 7th floor. Although this room was slightly bigger it was still too hot and I was unable to turn it off or down. As It was 0 - 3 degrees... More

The hotel is well situated in the CBD area, close to a mall across the street, lots of dining choices underground and on top of mall. Starbucks behind hotel. Rooms were clean and great value. English not that well spoken but the older Concierge goes out of his way to help you even with is minimal non existent English. Subway... More

I wrote a negative review about this hotel in December 2012 after staying in a room that felt well past its sell by date. However, on a subsequent visit in May 2013 (hotel is opposite company Beijing office, and Winterless is in a great location for anyone working in the Huamao complex) a number of things had improved. The lobby... More
