Booked and paid for three people to have one room using the hotels website. When we arrived we were not allowed to have three people in one room because apparently the beds would not hold more than one person each. Despite this not being an error on our part, we were not given any sympathy, no gesture of good will... More

As far as China brand hotels go, it's OK. Room is dated but comfortable. The price is reasonable. My only gripe was the breakfast. Limited and poor quality selection, and the staff could have been more service-oriented.

My visit to Beijing was very brief (2nights) and fully packed with activities. Thus I was arriving at the hotel tired and late. I had one main issue. I phoned reception for WiFi password, which they gave me, but internet still didn't work. I phoned again, a guy was sent to help me but he didn't manage to, thus he... More

The Zhaolong is a reasonably good hotel in Beijing, the rooms are nice and comfortable though the wifi is a little dicey, the breakfast is good, for us Indians there is the excellent Tandoor restaurant in the lobby, the location is great with lots of international restaurants, bars and shopping around being near the Diplomatic area and only 15-20min by... This hotel still keeps its old architecture design with some refurbishments in the past. Furnishing in the room also maintain old styles (something different). Room is clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and provide good service.

This is a very good hotel. an ancient but refurbished hotel, located near the embassies area with nice shops and restaurantes. Breakfast was unexpectadly very good. The hotel's chinese restaurant should be avoided. food is very bad and the waiters don't speak english. On the positive side, the reception staff, specially Ms. Ewa Li is very efficient and hepful. She... More

One of the oldest hotels at this location, but still keeps up. Foreigner friendly. Has all the facilities. Remember to ask for a room on non-smoking floor. I'm staying there each time I'm in Beijing. Also organized there a sales conference and staff was really helpful

I don't usually stay in Chinese hotels but this was good. The room was either really well looked after or just refurbished. Large room that was very clean. Good bed and the room was well equipped. No coffee and iron but I asked and was supplied. The room service menus has a good mix of Chinese and western food. Well... More

Hotel rooms have no wifi connection, or either a very poor one. Had to go to hotel lobby for sending emails. Also English was spoken just at the reception, rest of the staff couldnt do even Chinglish. Good side silent rooms&good beds. Breakfast was good offering both Western and Asian possibilities.

Air conditioner/heater was centralised and hotel guests didn't have the option to change any settings. The hotel says it was government regulation! After the first complaint that the heater was too hot for comfort, I was advised to open the windows, which I did for the second night. But air quality was so bad that my nose bled. Went to... More
