I partly agree with the criticisms in other reviews - this is aimed mainly at domestic travellers, there is no cooling air conditioning and only a small number of the dozens of staff speak fairly good English. That said, the rooms are big, there is good fast broadband through a cable connection (though not room wireless) and the breakfast is... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Most of the guests were Chinese. In fact , we were almost the only Westerns as we did not see any other during our stay. The staff attitude was very nice but they hardly understood our requests because of very poor English. It took me 20 minutes to get a black coffee... More

Overall attractive facility with large, clean, modern rooms; sumptuous buffet; and modern conference room. Main drawbacks: smoking is allowed throughout the hotel; wireless in the lobby only and there are no chairs in the lobby other than in the tea room which requires a purchase; no restaurants within walking distance; restaurant, while delicious, is buffet only. Hotel staff was unable... More

Stayed for 4 days during a business trip. Hotel is absolutely gorgeous!!! Beautiful lobby and luxurious rooms. However the wifi and air conditioning didn't work properly. It was hot and humid during my visit so AC was important. Smelled like a sewer. Pretty good location. Walking distance to a market and awesome beef noodle restaurant. A little shocked at how... I spent four nights here while at a conference in the hotel. Location is outside the centre, but good metro connection and taxis are easily available. Staff had limited English, which was surprising for a hotel styled 'International'. Couple of decent cheap restaurants around the corner, but the hotel restaurant was very lack lustre. Rooms and corridors smelt strongly of... More

I stayed one night for a business meeting nearby. The internet didn't work and I had to call the staff to fix the problem (it was fixed). The overal room was clean (FYI, the bathroom has a remote to open and close the shade which enable you to see the bathroom from the bed. I guess this is a feature... More

If you are coming from the US, I would not say this hotel is in the heart of the action in Beijing but a taxi cab puts you within striking distance of the main attractions. As well, you are within walking distance of some of the local eateries. The room was very nice and well-kept. I felt the price was... More

I stayed at the Yulong International Hotel for 3 nights during a business trip. The hotel itself is ok - the lobby area is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. I did encounter a few problems, although nothing too serious. I felt that the Yulong was bit like a cheap imitation of a 5 star hotel, rather than actually... More

We stayed here for 7 nights for a conference. The good: we had a super-deluxe room (or whatever the swankiest room is called here) and it was VERY nice. Large, great bathroom, clean, relatively comfy bed, mega-effective room darkening curtains. Room service came twice daily, and we always had fresh towels. Although the hotel is definitely not in the nicest-looking... More

First of all, there is a "Yulong Hotel" at the front. This is the "Yulong International Hotel" in the back. When I say "in the back", I am using the #40 Fucheng Road as their official address, so they are in the back. But from the big side street Landianchang Road, Yulong International Hotel actually faces that little waterway, and... More
