The rooms and lobby are beautiful - I'm guessing it was built for executives at the Olympics. Very lush accommodations. However, it's not maintained as it should be - there were many little things not working properly, the most annoying of which was the shower in everyone's room. The showers were beautiful stone-lined stalls with a rainfall showerhead as well... More

Best and most luxurious hotel I've ever been to! Only wish we stayed more than one night. Got this hotel for cheaper than original price due to agoda points. Indeed very very welcoming and comfortable. Tastefully designed with service befitting royalty. Wide variety of choices for the buffet breakfast. A stay definitely fit for a king!

So impressed with the atmosphere, quite swanky-feeling (indoor fountain, modern furnishings ect). Staff spoke good English in person, phone conversations were more difficult, but all staff are eager to help. Bell hops were SO helpful, hotel restaurant has good food with great variety, quite expensive as most hotel restaurants are. Staff gave suggestions on excellent alternative restaurant options. Taxi's had... More

I stayed at the Kingrand for 4 days. It is excellent location and amazing facilities. However it markets itself to foreigners but most the staff will say they are a LOCAL hotel. Meaning not many of the staff will not speak English easily. It mostly has tour groups and/or locals who have there own guides. The occupancy is low also,... More

The hotel is located close to Tiananmen Square, but not so close that its frightfully expensive (about a 20 minute walk). Inside, its on the glitzy tinselly side, but very comfortable. Excellent sleep in a quiet room. Outstanding breakfast spread in the lobby hotel. Nice airy fitness center visible from the lobby area.

This is a beautiful hotel with nicely appointed rooms. The only problem is it's location. It's hidden down an alley that is far from most activities. No restaurants, bars, shops to speak of in the area. There is a nice pool but you need a swim cap to enter so be sure to bring your own or buy one of... More

Very nice hotel located or set back from one of the main thoroughfares in Beijing although it is a tad difficult to find unless the driver has a really accurate GPS Rooms are huge, well decorated and very comfortable. Open public areas such as reception and lobby lounge are also very large and welcoming and all in all a nice... More

On overall the hotel was very nice even if the exterior doesn't look that appealing. Taxi from the airport costs around 120 Yuan, but make sure that you have a good map so that the taxi driver can indeed find it. The "Executive rooms" are very nice, spacious and quiet. Internet (cable) is free and works very well. Breakfast is... More

The rooms are very beautiful but the internet does not really work in the rooms and staff barely speaks English, so they cannot be very helpful. Ordering room service was a struggle each time and during check-in and check-out, the reception staff did not really understand almost anything in English, so the whole experience was very confusing. The only good... More
