I stayed here overnight whilst travelling through Beijing, and really enjoyed myself. Although the beds are very firm - as per all the beds I experienced in China - the room was beautifully decorated with a lovely view. I had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, and found it had a good selection of Western food along with Chinese. I would... More

We were booked in here on a group tour - so it served us well as a large party, however if you are travelling alone it may be worth looking around to see if you can find anything more exciting. The area felt quite safe with a number of restaurants near by - we tried one just down the road... More

We had an average experience with this hotel in Beijing. The neighborhood is safe and there are some places to eat nearby. It's a bit far from the main attractions and from an underground station but honestly, prefer to use Taxis in Beijing. It's cheap and safe - Just make sure you always get a receipt! The decor of the... More

We stayed here as part of a group on a tour. The lobby is spacious but lacks any seating and there is no comfortable 'lounge' space anywhere in the hotel. There is a lobby bar area but we were given the definite impression that it was not okay to sit there unless ordering a drink. The room itself was fine,... More

The one thing I disliked were the hard bed's, I've never slept on a bed that hard before, but it done my back wonders! The hotel is nicely decorated and has a modern yet traditional feel. Our room was very nice, we had a window sill that we could sit on and look over Beijing, although you couldn't really see... More

Entrance to the hotel is nice and within 10 minute walk of a nice restaurant and bakery (turn right out of the hotel, right onto the main road, keep walking straight for around 5 minutes until you reach a major cross roads and turn right - the second restaurant on the right). Breakfast was cold and the seating area not... More

We stayed in the Rainbow Hotel as part of a small work conference. The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is helpful but not amazing. Too many people smoking in lobbies and hotel hallways outside the rooms. Bathrooms are not very good and the beds are quite hard. We really enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant though. Overall, we felt... More

We were here for dinner only. A each table sat 11 people. Rotating circular glass can move different types of food together (rice, meat, salads and fruits). 1x drink included (beer, wine, soft drinks and tea).

Stayed here for three nights in mid October, 2014. There is a big lobby and a nice gift shop which also has some food and travel items (we needed suitcase locks and bought them at a reasonable price). The rooms were fine and comfortable (the bed slightly hard, pretty standard in China). The staff speaks very little English which makes... More

Stayed here for a couple of days with a group of 7 in all. It is close to the Temple of Heaven and The Forbidden City, but not near a good shopping area. The hotel has certainly seen better days and the big problem, as with quite a few in China, is that almost no one behind the front desk... More
