We were here for dinner only. A each table sat 11 people. Rotating circular glass can move different types of food together (rice, meat, salads and fruits). 1x drink included (beer, wine, soft drinks and tea).

Stayed here for three nights in mid October, 2014. There is a big lobby and a nice gift shop which also has some food and travel items (we needed suitcase locks and bought them at a reasonable price). The rooms were fine and comfortable (the bed slightly hard, pretty standard in China). The staff speaks very little English which makes... More

Stayed here for a couple of days with a group of 7 in all. It is close to the Temple of Heaven and The Forbidden City, but not near a good shopping area. The hotel has certainly seen better days and the big problem, as with quite a few in China, is that almost no one behind the front desk... More

There was nothing wrong with this Hotel but they could have done better. Their breakfast buffet spread was alright compared to the other hotels that we stayed in China. The hotel was not too far from the Forbidden City which is a great tourist attraction. The people at the reception do not understand much of English and don't bother about... More

The hotel had a large, grand foyer and reception staff were efficient at check in and check out. Location is central - walking distance to some of the famous attractions of Beijing including the Temple of Heaven and Forbidden City so excellent for tourists. There were some nice restaurants nearby and a theatre where you could see a good acrobatic... More

We spent a week in this hotel and a lot of things could be better. The rooms are well furnished, but very neglected. Certainly it would be necessary to focus on cleanliness. Breakfast was average, every morning the same thing, the same bread, tea could be due of better quality according to the destination. Also be attached greater importance to... More

Found this hotel to be well maintained , clean, great food and very friendly staff. Its location was well within the centre of most aftractions and easy reach of the ring roads. But you must remember that the shear size and population of Beijing means there will always be traffic. Like most hotels in China the beds are a bit... More

I tend to agree with previous reviews about this hotel. We were not with a tour group and it was very difficult to communicate with staff. Even ordering a meal in the main restaurant was interesting. We had to rely entirely on pictures. Disappointing only to have wifi in lobby and water for shower was only lukewarm throughout our three... More

We stayed 3 days in this hotel while on an organized tour with On The Go Tours, that I can recommended 100%... They were excellent. The reception was not able to speak English well, but it was no problem at all for us, as your tour guide did all the communication. This may be a problem if you do not... More

Stayed here whilst on an organised tour of Beijing, so no idea what the value was like. Also stayed in the place next door (to the left) which is clearly the same hotel for locals whereas Rainbow is for tourists. Hotel amenities were okay if a little dated. However, we were there in May with temperatures above 30 degrees and... More
