I stayed here for 5 nights leading a school party of teenagers. The two staff rooms were considerably nicer than the children's rooms on lower floors. Air con smelt badly of stale smoke. Teachers had Wifi router plugged in so Internet was excellent but, again, our students experienced a slow and intermittent service. Beds were hard and unforgiving with flat... More

We stayed 3 nights whilst on tour. The hotel is not near the metro and is at least an hour's walk to main shopping area. The area is very sleezy - sex shop down the street. The hotel room smelt like something had died in it and the toilet set was loose. In addition to this no shower curtain so... More

Really nice hotel, rooms spacious and clean. 10 minute walk to the Temple of Heaven park. Downside was location as it was a 25-30 minute walk to the subway station, there is a bus stop nearby if you know where the buses go. Wifi only worked in the lobby.

Reception really slow and not helpful or friendly. Early stay due to an escorted tour through On The Go Tours (which I wouldn't recommend either). We were therefore in this hotel for 5 nights. I would have spent more money and gone to a decent hotel otherwise. Very little air conditioning--they turned it off during the day and during the... More

Bedroom are beautiful, clean and comfortable, my bathroom had a beautiful and relaxing bathtub and breakfast is nice but that is it - that's all good things I can say. The area is a big let down, the common area is posh but the staff is very rude and their little english disappear at the moment you need them to... More

Not sure of the location. It is close to the forbidden city but the area was quite run down and when driving around the City there were much nicer areas. The foyer is big and posh but the rooms are dark and dingy. Worn around the edges would describe my room well. The bed was hard but clean. The bathroom... More

My husband and I stayed here a long time ago and it was excellent then. 1999 was the year, back then it was a good hotel, service was great and the breakfast was amazing, I remember all the choices and they even had delicious cakes for breakfast and I always squeezed one in.

Nice clean hotel with very good breakfast. the problem is that you have 2 separate beds and no rooms with one double, but you can ask from the desk if they understand you to give you an extra blanket and make the beds like one.

Stayed here three nights. Everyone in China spits everywhere they go. Did not expect the Chef, if he deserves to be called that, to spit on the floor where he's cooking fried eggs for people to eat. I watched him drop a fried egg on the counter, chase it around the counter, pick it up and put it on the... More

I stayed 3 nights in the hotel with my group. There was a heatwave in Beijing, over 30 Celsius. The air-condition in the hotel was not working despite our demand. The staff explained that it is a policy not to turn it on until June. So my group and I suffered for 3 night the heat of late spring. Otherwise... More
