2-3 minutes away from hotel lobby. Good service quality, clean and convenient. Facilities really need to be refurbished as soon as possible. Booking was made with a hotel room rates comparison site: www.myhoteldaddy.com

I was there for 6 days and I loved it. Great location, helpful staff, beautiful hotel. The standards are high here and a great place for Westerners. There are much cheaper places to stay, but it is worth the price. Great place for touring, sight seeing, eating great Chinese food.

First of all, there are three Jianguo hotels in Beijing, so be careful to note the address of the one you will be staying at. I lived in China 28 years ago and remembered the Jianguo as the very first luxury hotel in China and thought I was staying there. I showed up there and it turned out I was... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights recently as part of a package tour of Beijing. Found it very modern and spacious. We were in a very large modern room with two queen beds. Plenty of space and room, including carpet, well maintained. The room rate was very reasonable for what we got. the only downside for us was that... More

I have been travelling to Beijing for the last 3 years and stay in this hotel about 90% of my visits. It is an older hotel, but he rooms are clean, WiFi is free and the breakfasts is good. Room rates are around RMB1,200 (AUD220). It is a two minute walk from the silk market, a 15 minute bus ride... More

I would rate this as a rare finding in my traveling world. Of course chosen by my friend from Beijing. The property is excellent with a good price value. I loved the breakfast and coffee shop. Internet service was good to serve purpose which was part of room package. Indian food restaurants are nearby, so i could easily order my... More

The hotel reception and lobby are very well kept up and polished, unfortunately the other floors show the signs of the hotel age. Floor carpets are faded, bathrooms are functional but not pampering. The room itself serves it's purpose but could do with a larger TV and some more English language channels. Complimentary water bottles were only provided on my... More

I was not sure I liked this hotel when I arrived. It had been booked through a travel agent, something I do, and seemed to be a hotel they must do steady business with. Check in was quick, my main complaint was being asked for 1000CNY deposit after having paid in full. Not completely unexpected, this was China after all.... More

Having stayed in this hotel before, it is now my only choice when visiting Beijing. The rooms, particularly the ones on the Executive floor are amazing. Breakfast is very good. All staff are so friendly, with most speaking very good English. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Silk Street Market Highly recommended hotel

The Jianguo hotel is a good option if you need a base to explore Beijing. It is about 15 mins walk from the real centre (Forbidden City, etc), but is only 5 mins from the Dongdan subway station (the whole tube network is excellent, clean and VERY cheap and signs are in English). The hotel is huge and a bit... More
