I stayed here with a group trip in early April. The check-in process was reasonably efficient and we got up to our rooms from the very nice lobby in short order. The location of the Jianguo Garden is good if you are looking for something central, as there is a metro station directly outside and it's within walking distance of... More

Arrived in Beijing checking in was swift and efficient. Staff spoke some English and were very helpful. Rooms were clean and turn down service very nice. Toiletries in the showers were adequate, included toothbrush and other useful items. My son and husband used the pool which was lovely, but the sauna was not good, very smelly. When reported at reception,... More

HUGE hotel - obviously geared towards their main interest; CONVENTIONS! YES it is centrally located; near Tianmen Square, near a gorgeous mall with great eating facilities , Forbidden city is just 15 minutes away...but: our travel agent had forgotten to tell us (or the hotel) that we would arrive end one morning after a long flight. This meant; we had... More

I went to this hotel to see if it was suitable for elementary students on a trip to Beijing. It lived up to that reputation! Parts of the hotel were up to date while other parts were a little old and dated. Overall it was a good experience and I will be taking my students here! The location was really... More

Stayed for four nights. Staff very friendly and all were very efficient. Room was outstanding, with plenty of space to move around. Bathroom was user friendly and very clean. Hotel centrally located, close to Forbidden City. Accommodation was part of travel package, so cannot comment on value. Would love to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in September. When looking at hotels, I wanted a 4-5 star place in a convenient location. We chose an executive level room and booked directly with the hotel via Internet. Check-in was at the executive level desk and easy after the usual photocopying of passports. Our room was only a short... More

Started on the 9th floor, then moved to th 8th and finally to another room. Hotel with a good lobby but with completely worn out furniture. No Internet (cable) in the room and wireless works fine on the lobby. Very good dim suns and chicken curry at the hotel. it is a must to try the restaurants underground on the... More

This hotel can be great if it had a well-trained professional staff. They can hardly speak English, often misunderstand what you say or want. For example, I asked to order a taxi for 5:45 next morning. I went down to check out by 5:35 and they told me that taxi was ordered for 5:30 and it had already gone away.... More
