If you are a Mandarin speaker this is probably a nice hotel, however for the Western traveller.... The bad: No one in this hotel speaks conversational English. I had to draw pictures to communicate with the front desk staff. Impossible to get a taxi, we waited multiple times for more than 30 minutes and each time ended up in a... More

If you enjoy a garden view, floral smelling hotel, and beautiful floral arrangements, you will enjoy this hotel. It has a good location, excellent buffet breakfast and nice rooms. I felt it catered to westerners, and had no trouble with the staff at the desk; however, our Chinese guide checked us in and out of the hotel. It is not... More

Hotel is good, but old. 5 minutes walking distance to MTR station. Hotel switch off lobby light when midnight. Maybe hotel think of eco safety. Hotel not so convenience due to don't have shop along the road side.

From the outside and from the main lobby, the appearance of the hotel is quite decent. Very clean looking. We had 4 rooms on various floors and some of the rooms were renovated and some weren't. The renovated rooms looked very modern while the unrenovated rooms looked very plain. The bathroom looked old and worn out especially around the shower... More

You would think working in a hotel when you would certainly get non-Asians, they should be able to speak basic English. Not here, communication was so hard. Luckily, the Google translate app saved the day. Location is good, close to a shopping plaza and Wanfuging shopping strip. The rooms are clean and good and that's about it. The wifi is very... More

Very Chinese hotel. Clean substantial rooms. Reasonable size but chilly if the wind is blowing ! Nice chinese music played in corridors! But also live music on occasion in the grand entrance. Food local with a western touch at breakfast. Staff speak basic English.Stayed twice here. Good base to walk to many local attractions .Reasonably priced for business travel.

I switched hotels to this one because of the reviews. Our rooms where not as nice as those shown. The bathrooms had not been updated to a long time and the carpets were really bad. The air conditioning only worked for a couple hours at a time and the refrigerator didn't work. I informed the front desk and nothing was... More

This is a great place to stay in Beijing. It's very centrally located, clean, and friendly staff. Aesthetically it is a nice hotel and the price was very affordable from a USD perspective. We stayed here for about 7 nights on our trip to Beijing before moving on to Tokyo. The food in the restaurants is overpriced for what you... More

We stayed at this hotel about two months ago for a week. It is very centrally located, an easy walk to Wangfujing shopping area and the must-see night market, about 2km to Tianammen and the Forbidden City and an easy 2-3 minute walk to subway access to all of Beijing (easy to use subway system....similar to those world-wide and with...
