Three nights here in October. The lobby consists of a vast empty space with a few restaurants, bars etc around it. All looking a little second rate and in need of a refurbishment. Stayed there for 7 nights from September 4th 2009. Bottom line: Old not well maintained rooms with abyssimal service. We stayed there with a baby for 7 nights. The room's furniture were old and not adapted to a stay longer than one night: we wanted to unpack our suitcases but there was simply not enough storage space (drawers, chest, closet)... more

The lobby and restaurant are beautiful and the breakfast was great BUT the room was old-old bathroom, old furniture, old carpet. more

The hotel is centrally located near the silk market and other amenities. I would recommend the hotel to both families and business travellers. Breakfast, rooms, swimming pool, sauna, service and staff are all excellent. 15 minutes by car from the centre but lower price than central hotels. Adequate rooms, although aircon did not work in our room, but nothing fancy. Casual and formal restaurants, but we preferred starbucks just outside. Staff quite helpful. Most guests seem to be on package tours in groups. Secure/safe. more

The hotel has recently been renovated. If you get to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms on the executive floor, lucky you; otherwise, it's quite old, especially the bathroom, you can see rusty stains around the corners of the bathtub and in between the tiles, and the drawers under the wash basin all have paints peeling off... just... more
