Nice location, few minutes walk from Wangfujing which is main shopping and walking street in heart of Beijing city. Quiet place, especially rooms below ground level. Room was warm even it was cold winter. Even no window with room, staying was pleasant and bed was good. Tiny shower room was adequate. Hotel was restaurant with very reasonable price and good... After travelling for two and a half years and staying in all sorts of places we stayed here for one night on our way home. This place was so bad I would actually take the time to write about how bad it was. The staff where the first disaster, I have never in mylife met such biligerence and ignorance, they... More

I usually stay here once a year and hotel is very consistent with quality. Good location and staff. Usually they upgrade you when possible. Restaurant could be better though, although difficult to find good food in Beijing.

Room is ok, but smells bad. Breakfast is lousy for the price of 15 yuans, definitely not worth a cent. Restaurant where it's served is dirty and service is bad. The lady who was in charge kept on watching tv. People smoke in the elevator, everywhere in the hotel. Location is very convenient, since it's only a 50m walk from... More

Except the location of this hotel , nothing else is upto the mark. Right from the begining of stay till the end , nothing i can say was good. Rather it was the other way, i have decided never to come back. Some problems , i am sure many have experienced - mistakes in booking , wrong rooms given, smell of... More

I stayed in the Dawan hotel in August of 2009, and on my most recent trip to Beijing, my hotel was just a few blocks away. I recognized the place and had to go back and get the information. If ever a hotel deserved a negative review, it's this place. I looked around to see if any upgrades had been... More

There's a reason why this hotel was only $37USD/night. I rented a standard two bed room. The bathroom was "clean", but had mold between the tile crevices. The towels were stained with blood and other material. The floor carpets were dirty and dusty. The only plus that I can think of is that it was $37USD/night and the room provided... More

The Agoda half price Friday Sale persuaded us, 3 couples to try this hotel. At USD 35/night for a Superior Room, it was good value. Arriving midnight at Capital Airport in Beijing, we got shocked at the very long taxi line. We were told that the queue will take over an hour to get a taxi, and in our case... More

We just came back from our holidays. We were booked in a 3 star hotel in Beijing. We have 2 rooms in different directions of the corridor. The rooms smell of sewerage and urine whenever we enter the rooms. The rooms are small and dingy. Although it looked impressive on the web and there is a big signboard displaying the... More
