We stayed in tower B and had 2 rooms on a relatively high floor. There was some noise which I couldn't quite work out. It may have been wind noise, nevertheless, it didn't interfere with my sleep. The beds are hard, which I like, however, if you prefer a softer mattress you may find these uncomfortable. The decor in the... More

Stayed a week in Tower B for a conference in the hotel. The service in the room was great. Two free bottles of water in the bathroom. Other bottles outside the bathroom were not free. English at the main desk was limited. There were English menus available in the many restaurants, with plenty of pictures. Breakfast was Chinese buffet style... More

Recently stayed at SpringHill Suites in Erie, PA on August 26. The bed was too soft and wireless Internet did not work. Not good for business travellers if you need Internet. On a positive note, I had a package delivered there and there was a note in their system as I checked in.

Check in Tower C, the newest and apparently swankiest of the three. Strange entrance like an office block. The reception was on the fourth floor no helpful signs except one that said "do not invite strangers to your room to play cards"! Poor English spoken at reception. Room was huge-more like a junior suite. Strange lots of tea-not sure which... More

Great hotel, frendly staff, very little english is spoken but we managed, breakfast was Chinese style as you would expect although they made an extra effort for my husband he had his own trolley with fried ham (looked like bacon) fried eggs (in butter) bread rolls (sweet) all very nice and it made him feel very special indeed! The staff... More

very good hotel with excellent facilities for dinning, shops, meetings, conferences, seminars and holidays. The hotel has three towers, tower A is farthest from the busy main road and tower C is very close to the busy main road. The hotel offers a large choice of dinning restaurants and serves a wide range of buffet dinning. There is a coffee... More

I stayed at this hotel over the winter with a group from my school for about 3 days. The hotel was very accommodating to our large group (about 25). The rooms were very nice with all the basic amenities. One nice perk was that there were two showers, one was a stand up and one was a tub. The only... More

This hotel where I and my friend stayed for 2 days has three towers and we stayed in Tower C. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. The room where we stayed in was large, air conditioned and well furnished. The bathroom was quite clean and modern. The staff were concerned about our comforts and their service was good. But... especially if you are a tourist -do yourself a favor and stay in a nice location in Dongcheng (East Beijing). if you are a hard-nosed, fluent Mandarin speaker in love with Chinese government hotels, then you can save yourself a few bucks over a Western chain in Dongcheng.

Stayed in Block B for 5 nights. Very impressive hotel - very very big. Had two rooms - a 1 broom suite and twin. The suite was VERY comfortable, but air con was non-existent and so rooms was very hot - only on our last day did we discover that we could have opened the windows for a cooling breeze... More
