stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during my short stay in Beijing. First of all, reception staff is not very friendly and helpful (dont know if its due to language barrier, as they could speak decent English). Secondly, there was virtually no wifi range in our room. This hotel has great location, its middle of everywhere, right in the... More

We have stayed here several times when on school tours. The rooms are a good size, it is central and the breakfast have a good selection of western foods. A perfectly good choice when in Beijing. The staff on reception speak English and are always very helpful. Everything is in walking distance and there are great restaurants just across the... More

Sunworld hotel is in a very central location in Beijing. Close to main shopping centre, lots of restaurants around to choose from. 7/11 across the road. Not too far from Forbidden City etc. Large rooms. Overall great hotel in Beijing. Hotel staff do not speak much English but i think you will find this at most hotels even 5 star.... More

Best in Sunworld Hotel was its location, near Wangfujing shopping street and about five minutes walk from Dengshikou underground station (line 5). If you enjoy walking, it's relatively easy to find one's way to Forbidden City,Tiananmen Square and Beihai and Jingshan Parks. The room was quite basic but spacious and clean. What I specially enjoyed was the air cleaner, it... More

During my business trip to China I spent 2 nights at SunWorld hotel in Beijing . The best thing about the hotel is that has a perfect location to visit the main touristic sites ( Forbiden City and Tiananmen Square ) . Any shopping nearby the hotel , Wanfujing street . Rooms are clean , good balance between price and... More

I stayed here before commencing a tour and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation. The rooms were an adequate size and the beds very comfortable. The lobby has plenty of sofas and this was very useful for meeting other members of the tour group. Wifi also worked in this area. Reception were helpful and spoke reasonable English.... More

Stayed in Sunworld Beijing Hotel for 2 nights recently, and loved the hotel location best. It's just a few min walk to the Wanfujing shopping street (where there's some good street food), Tiananmen Square etc. The rooms are well kept and the front desk staff are generally very friendly (though their English is sometimes not very understandable). Breakfast is buffet... More

I have always known that in China, their hotel classification is one star lower than that of western standards. I've stayed in hotels as high as 6 stars rating in China! So when this was rated as a 4 star, I knew it was really a 3 star hotel, and this helps temper expectations. The lobby is not that expansive,... More

We stayed during winter and the duck down pillows provided were just too soft. The bath tub is not meant for anyone over 150 cm tall and the room cleaners are early starters. Coffee was dismal and the breakfast catered for both Asian and western taste.
