The hotel is located in nothern part of Beijing, very close to the Olympic centre. Taxi from the airport is about 10 euros, it is also cheap inside the city. The is a chic hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, nice, big, clean and equipped with all devices rooms. You will have even a tea-pot and a toothbrush in... More

stayed in this hotel for attending a congress. the only positive thing about this hotel is having convenience access to the convention centre and that's all. the services are quite poor (reception, room service, restaurant, etc.), 99.5% of the staff could not speak English at all. no one could speak English in the restaurant so you always have trouble for... Attached to Convention Center this hotel is very convenient. Desk service excellant and even delivered China Daily to my room upon request. Top floors are best and buffet breakfast full of variety. Wifi handy in room but lobby was gratis.Closeby is an underground mall with Starbucks,Chinese foodcourt and bakery. The hotel is near Birdnest Stadium and on 4th ring so... More

I stayed for four days in September attending conference. The hotel is connected to the Convention Centre and access is convenience. The hotel is close to Olympic stadium but very far from most tourist shopping area. Staff speak very little English and very difficult to communicate. I had a hard time to argue with the reception at check out when... More

I recently stayed here for a meeting at the Convention Center. It has indoor access to the Convention Center. It is just an "ok" hotel otherwise. Wifi in the lobby and only 4 chairs there so people are just standing around. No bar after 9pm. The bathroom was slightly moldy or something, had a weird smell; but, the room was... More

I spent 7 nights in this hotel because I participated in a Congress in the neighbouring Beijing Conference Centre. The first thing that struck me on arrival was the absence of seats in the lobby, apart from 2 armchairs in a hidden corner. The public parts are not bad and the room (13th floor) was large enough (2 beds, but... More

Having stayed in another hotel last week in Beijing , this stay is definitely going to be compared . The rooms are compact and small , with no ironing board ! The breakfast buffet is basic with not much options , simple some fruit , salads , couple of cold cuts , porridge and eggs ! The only greatest point... More

Pros: Good position close to the Olympic park, good breafasts. North star is quite clean, silent and more or less well equipped area (7/11 only 3 mins from hotel, Subway fast food, some small restaurants, etc.) Very convenient - if you are visiting some conference or congress in the nearby Beijing convention center, since they are directly connected. Close to... More

Located basically as part of the older Beijing Convention Center and within a short walk of the Olympic village are the only reasons to stay here. It is a long way from the city center or anything else that is of interest. Rooms were fine with comfortable bed and a generous size for the executive room. No mini bar or... More

No, its a bit costly compare to what you experienced. Breakfast is with very common food, dont expect nice surprise. Front desk people, are terrible with english. So tough talking to them, how can i say? Room, well ...old properties, with fairly clean bathroom.
