To a non Beijinger this hotel may seem out of the city (as it did to us) however with Beijing spread out as large as it is you will soon discover that it is close enough to all. A short taxi ride got us to a Metro. Standard rooms are clean, well appointed with soft beds (hard to come by... more

We just completed our stay here today and on the whole was just a normal experience. Breakfast has improved since we last stayed in Feb this year. This booking was made via the company so we did not have a choice. The bathroom was way too small and the floor we stayed in had glue/paint smell every night as they... more

Beijing is a city in changing. And fast! There are hotels virtually almost everywhere and Rosedale hotel is a good exemple of a good and not expensive one as the rates are around US$ 80 - 100,00. It was built in a modern style, has big and confortable rooms, the lobby and restaurant area are nice and the staff very... more

Since we didn't book this hotel (corporate booking) it wasn't our choice to stay here as we had stayed at the Holiday Inn in December and loved it. If you are a small person, it would be tolerable in a regular room here at the Rosedale. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. Forget about... more

Very nice hotel, breakfast is OK. Room furniture is in good shape. Location is close to airport and a bit far from center (must calculate at least 1 hour during rush hour) but taxi cost is around 6 euros one way. Several restaurants close by especially Korean BBQ restaurant more

We booked in an executive room and it turned out to be no bigger than the sleeper on a train. We paid over 200 USD per night for nothing. In other hotels on our trip we got breakfast included plus night time hor d'oevres when we stayed on the executive club floor. The staff were rude and it was a... more

The hotel is located along way out of the city centre. There is little to do in the area but convenient for the airport. The hotel staff do not all speak English and it made check in and check out a little confusing. The hotel is a big tower block and whilst clean enough lacks character and soul. The doormen... more

I stayed at the Rosedale for one night. I found my room to be clean and the hotel staff to be very pleasant. It is convenient to the airport, although a bit far from the city center. I would recommend it. more

Minor complaints: We checked into the hotel on 5Nov-9Nov, it seems to be the coldest days of the month or something. Although it's cold, the room temperture was too warm for our desire. However the air conditioning switch in the room cannot be adjusted or it doesn't work. We tried to open the window, but the window cannot be opened.... more

I just retured from a 3 day business stay from Rosedale. And it was even better than the first time. This time, they only gave me a regular room, but this is very convinient and efficient and: it has Internet access for free. The breakfeast stays on a level much above from the standard and is clean and fresh. You... more
