Good hotel , well located and with friendly staff . The room i had was confortable but in need of some reformation , the furniture is a bit degradated . Very good breakfast buffet but the restaurant space wasn't enough for all the guests . People had to share tables or wait for a while ... not acceptable !

Convenient for me when I am working nearby, but hard to see how would be particularly good location for many other people. Persistent smell of stale tobacco. Rooms adequate if very dated (especially bathrooms). Breakfasts overpriced and generally rather poor. Very frustrating: not able to sit and relax on sofas in lobby unless buying (very expensive) drinks. Was forced to... More

Yet another hotel 30yrs beyond it's prime. Staff was OK, lobby is very nice but it stops there. The rooms are old and not in an 'good antique' sort of way. The AC does not work, I'm on a low grade sweat the entire time, I asked the hotel to look into it for my second day but nothing. A... More

The Presidential Beijing is a great hotel with staff you are able to converse in English. That makes it most helpful to get information and communication. Venue is close to most Business areas and the main foyer lounge is great for informal meet and greet discussions with clients

The breakfast was what prompted my poor rating. The chef just gave us a scowl when we asked for an omelet. I am close to rating it a one star, but it is close to the metro. The food did not last but minutes when it was put out at breakfast. There was nowhere to sit and the staff was... More

We read the comments about this hotel, many were positive, some negative, but as international travelers, we were initially impressed by our experience here, but negatives quickly abounded. The room was very good in size as compared to European standard rooms (other reviews complained about room size). Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, comp water are provided. The WiFi was upgraded recently... More

We spent 4 nights at the Presidential and had 3 rooms during our stay. The first room we had was so full of cigarette smoke that we relocated the next day. The second room they tried to give us was a "non smoking" room but on a smoking floor. Other guests were smoking in their rooms with the doors open... More

Stayed there for 2 nights and I was not really worth it.. The Internet was shabby and went on and off, meaing it was close to be useless and it actually only worked at the lobby itself. TV had 68 channels, 66 of those were chinese... Breakfast, even simple requests like Fried Egg wasn't understandeable by the "egg cook" and... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a package tour. It is ok and quite comfortable but we had a few frustrations. Warning: THEY DO NOT HAVE HAIR DRYERS - and for me, that is a real downer because I don't like wet hair and there is nothing to dry off damp clothes etc. But they do have... More

I used this hotel as a base while attending Beijing business and conference activities. Security was noticeable, especially on the day when it was increased for an evening reception for the Bangladesh Prime Minister. My conference was in the hotel and the conference rooms met my expectations. Concierge services helped me get a taxi at a very early hour, and... More
