This hotel had a great breakfast buffet even for the pickiest of eaters. Friendly and helpful staff, ATMs in the lobby with little to no surcharge, and bus stops right on the corner. The beds were pretty firm so be prepared for that. All in all, a nice hotel.

Stayed several nights while touring Beijing. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, with lots of variety, but sometimes the dining room became very busy at certain times. No problems. ATMs in the lobby made it easy to get money. We didn't explore the neighborhood much.

Ideally situated, 20 minutes to Tian a Men and all its sights also the Temple of Heaven and local hutongs, there's no need to take the tube although that is very cheap and welcomingly air conditioned if you do. Good breakfasts with a full range of local and European fare sustains one for the day. Bar area rather gaudy, internal... More

Despite being one of the older hotels, it is still a very imposant hotel within Beijing. The rooms are all well equipped but of course have a certain late 70ies touch. The breakfast has both, continential and traditional chinese selection. As the hotel can host several hundered travelleres, the atmosphere during breakfast is very hectic. There are few supermarkets just... More

This hotel has the feel of an upper end international hotel in any major city. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished with tea and coffee facilities and free mineral water on tap. Bathrooms have a good selection of toiletry items as well as the usual items you may have forgotten such as tooth brushes etc. With the upscale feel... More

Although not really close to any of the tourist attractions this hotel is just a short taxi drive from most of them. Remember that Beijing is a huge city so nothing is particulary close. The service was excellent and they even opened up one of the restaurants that were closed for renovation just to serve us a late dinner one... More

We stayed as a large group on a school trip. The rooms were of standard size, not particularly stunning but nothing to complain about either. Staff were helpful enough. Room service was decent (we had the dumplings and noodles in soup on arrival late at night). The buffet breakfast was somewhat chaotic. Lots of tour groups passing through. We sat... More

I was there during the celebration of a Research Meeting. The facilities are OK and the rooms big, clean and comfortable. The restaurants are not very interesting Practically nobody speaks other language different than mandarin, and those "speaking" english speak it very bad. The surroundings are not very interesting with the exception of a hutong and, of course, the Quianmen... More

We were on a private small group tour and this was their chosen hotel. The hotel itself is spacious with very neat and tidy rooms although those facing out onto main roads were a bit noisy (Beijing drivers tend to use their horns a lot).. Breakfast was ample with a good egg station for us westerners but in the main... More

We are a family of three adults and stayed here in March of 2014. We requested a double business room with an extra bed and received a beautiful double bedded room with an entire extra bedroom attached. It was wonderful! The hotel itself is fine. No issues with check-in, cleanliness, or breakfast. However, the surrounding area is quite down and... More
