I've stayed here multiple times. Some of the rooms are more upgraded than others, but it's reasonable. Breakfasts are pleasant and service is good. Few western guests which is not a problem, except that alot of the service staff are not accustomed to speaking English. So when I had a question about whether a suit could be dry-cleaned in 6... and I almost ranked this a 4 star, but when I reflected on the things that matter I had to be honest and say 3 is a better indicator. The good points were the size of rooms, facilities, breakfast menu, and in-house restaurants and bars. The bad were the number of times I needed to call engineering to fix problems... More

Kunlun offers a good deal/price for a 5 star business hotel, so it certainly is a fine option, slightly cheaper than the other nearby hotels. The only comment is that you don't see many Western guests there. Staff is not used to speak English and eg breakfast is very Chinese. Still, a good price/quality deal in that area of Beijing.

Hotel location is very good. Easy to reach all the interesting spots in Beijing. The hotel has a great image, but cannot fulfil this anymore. Everything in the hotel looks used, sometimes very used and many items even dirty. The rooms are OK, but not state of the art anymore. The bathroom is very small and looks pretty used (but... More

Very reasonably priced business style hotel. Rooms are decent size. Several decent restaurant options on site. City Mall directly across the street. Good place to stay if you are doing business in the area. Not a prime tourist area. Beware; beds are extremely firm like many asian properties.

We went as a medical delegation in 2001. It was beautiful. Very clean. People very helpful and eager to please. The revolving restaurant was very nice and we ate breakfast there every morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to westerners. Market right opposite.

After a tiring day of travel on Christmas Day, arriving at Hotel Kunlun was a relief. The luggage porter was swift to take our luggage up to our rooms and we were greeted with a lovely, warm twin room - much better than the sub-zero temperatures outside. Everything was in perfect condition and the room was very clean. What was... More

I stayed in this hotel November 6, 11, and 14. It was clean and the staff was helpful. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. On the flip side, every time I left my room the door key would not work. The first night I was exhausted and found that my key didn't work. After three trips to the front desk,... More

My husband and I had stayed in the hotel for 6 days in mid Nov, before our trip, I did send 2 enquiries to the hotel web site to check if the pool, gym and sauna were under renovation, there wasn't any feedback at all even we were back to our own country, that's made us really disappointed!
