We (2+2) came with an organized group (8 nights) so I cannot guess the room rate. We received two adjoining rooms with NO WINDOWS (a first for us !). But, surprisingly, they were well ventilated and smelled just fine. Also no odour issues from the bathroom. We usually went out in the morning and returned in the evening - spent... More

This hotel was our first stop on our family pilgrimage to China. The check in process was fairly quick and efficient. As a part of the process they had to check and copy all 13 passports, they had enough staff to allow for multiple functions at one time. The rooms were larger than anticipated. The beds were queen sized, mattress... More

Spent 3 nights in the hotel on the front end of a 2 week tour through the mainland of China. Rooms were clean enough but the beds are like all of China hotels, hard as a rock. One nice thing that all hotels in China do provide are toiletries. Every room has tooth brushes, combs, razors, bottled water, etc. We... More

We stayed here as part of a tour group. It appears that this hotel caters towards tours, so something to consider if you are not part of one. While the general areas are pretty, the rooms are beat and in general need of some serious TLC. Our room reeked of smoke despite the "no smoking" hotel policy and the newly... More

I have stayed at this property at all my 4 trips to China. The property is huge, has a lot of shopping options and an in-house Indian restaurant. The hotel staff is kind, the restaurant manager Mr Deepak Patel is very adjustable and accommodating when it comes to Indian food. There is also a Thai restaurant. The hotel location is... More

The hotel is well positioned for Kosher travelers. talking to others in Chabad / synagogue it is much better than similar offers in the neighborhood, all of whom are more expensive. They have an exchange program with foreign staff from Mauritious and France, and there is always someone with excellent English to help when needed, The wifi is good!, There... More

The location is great. The hotel is a bit worn. Try the Indian restaurant and the Thai. The BIG thing in this hotel is the staff, they are great. If you book a business room on the 5th floor you get free laundry, lounge with full breakfast, coffee and cakes all day and a simple buffet dinner with free drinks... More

I often travel to Beijing for business (and always forget to write reviews!). Within this area there are 3 hotels that are around the same price and within my budget. This hotel, the Rosedale, and the Marriott Courtyard. Actually in terms of rooms and newness, the Marriott is the best. However the location lets it down since it is not... More

Here we have one of those hotels who are living in the past. It feels like going back to the eighties. You are required to pay at check-in (maybe not everyone, but our group was). Breakfast was included, but they forgot to provide me with vouchers (another old-fashioned habit), so I had to negotiate the entrance in the breakfast hall... More

The Chinese guy who wear the glasses at the reception on April 24, 2015 @21:30. His behavior so bad. He should not work in hotel. I ask him about taxi to go to Tian an men. He try to sell travel package from hotel (cost 900 RMB). I was not interested. Then he make ugly face like look down on... More
