The Hotel is not the newest one but has a extraordinary price-value-ratio. Beside the NUO Hotel and the Crown Plaza it provides clean rooms, a good breakfast and friendly service people. My room was really quiet. Could hear no traffic noice at all. They ar renovating the rooms now one by one. Would come again!

This is the second time that I have stayed in this hotel while visiting Beijing and have enjoyed both my stays. The rooms are a good size, especially when staying on my own. Wifi is free and not too slow. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of western and more traditional Chinese breakfast fare and there are a number... More

Have spent a Family trip within this hotel. it is not the best 3 stars hotel i have ever visited but it makes the job; rooms / bathrooms are cleaned and the breakfast buffet is good and diversified. Pool, Sauna, Gym - accessible from 5:30 to 11pm - make the difference from average to very good rating and wireless is... More

To be honest, other customer reviews made me nervous about this hotel. But those negative folks must have stayed in an alternate universe, because I found the Lido to be a lovely, well appointed hotel with incredibly good service. It's true, not everyone in Beijing speaks English, but it's CHINA. If you want English, stay in an English speaking country.... More

The rooms for sure are not the newest, but therefore every taxi driver knows the "Lido fandian" and will directly take you there. Came here several times on business trip and many of my colleagues still come here. Breakfast is absolutely enough and wide choice from Chinese to Western, staff usually friendly. Good breakout (or return) for the evening is... More

Our requirements for a family trip to Beijing are: easy airport access, swimming pool and breakfast buffet. This hotel meets those requirements, but just scrapes by. Cons: it's an old hotel, a former Holiday Inn and the new owners have not done much to upgrade anything. The rooms aren't anything special, the pool is small and the staff's service was... More

Good location , not too high only four floors however is a bit tired this hotel and needs a complete rehabilitation , refurbishement , painting , carpeting etc. Stuff quite good, working very hard to keep it clean but is nothing to do except closing down and do modernize and repair this hotel. Does not make sense to pay for... More

This was once a a terrific hotel in the 1980s, but it's just tired now. The cafe has recently been refurbished, which makes it more slightly more pleasant; and the staff certainly try hard. However, the carpeting, the furniture and the facilities are all tired. Our room was hot and stuffy so we tried to open the window; however, it... More

A friend booked this hotel for me for the weekend as I was visiting him and it's close to his home. It's not the newest but quite a decent hotel. The room is pretty good. Quite passable. The best things are that there is a fruit shop selling lots of reasonably priced fruits at the front and a very nice... More
