A friend booked this hotel for me for the weekend as I was visiting him and it's close to his home. It's not the newest but quite a decent hotel. The room is pretty good. Quite passable. The best things are that there is a fruit shop selling lots of reasonably priced fruits at the front and a very nice... More

a fine hotel located in the heart of the city Beijing but still away from the hustlebustle of the fast moving city, Metro park lido hotel offers a fine address to spend time while at Beijing. With spacious parking area and open well decorated lobby and reception, manned by smiling staff, the place is warm to the customers.the building is massive... I don't like reviews written as a rant, so I'll try to keep to just the facts. Within the first 24 hours, the following happened: - There was a long black hair weaved in between my vegetables and mash potatoes at the very expensive steakhouse - I was approached for a 'private massage' in the hotel lobby - It took... Stayed here at the start and end of our tour of China. It is a very clean hotel with excellent staff. The bedrooms are very good with comfortable beds and space for luggage. The breakfast was very good buffet style with lots to choose from. There is a small shopping center at the rear of the hotel. If you manage... More

Easy to get to. Every taxi driver in Beijing seems to understand 'Leedoo fandian' and gets you there. Not the most glamorous hotel in Beijing but staff are every friendly and helpful and the price is good. Nearby bars and restaurants too are very good and cater for westerners.

I was in Beijing for work and stayed in this hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable but not very new. Some carpets renovation is required. The service is very good, mineral water is provided every day to the room and also toiletries, slippers and more! The people at the reception are very helpful with everything you need,... More

We stayed at this hotel during a three day conference. Our first impression of the place was quite poor, as the porter, upon us politely requesting a trolly for our luggage, spat to his friend "they're not cripples, why can't they carry their own luggage?" This unpleasant incident clouded our entire stay. To be fair though, the rooms were clean... More

This hotel is something of an old favorite for the people I work and travel with - I am told it was one of the first international hotels in Beijing and for that reason my company have used it often and have grown fond of the place. However, for me this hotel is dated, in need of repair and modernization... More

We stayed here as the first hotel as part of a heritage tour. It is a very nice hotel with nice amenities, but needs some updating and some maintenance. We had issues with the shower and the door-lock, but to the hotel's credit, they fixed them promptly. The breakfast buffet is large with many good choices - both Western and... More
