Easy to get to. Every taxi driver in Beijing seems to understand 'Leedoo fandian' and gets you there. Not the most glamorous hotel in Beijing but staff are every friendly and helpful and the price is good. Nearby bars and restaurants too are very good and cater for westerners.

The breakfast was ok if you want to get a good service try to find the foreigners workers they will understand you and will do the best to help. the local workers sometimes dont understand what you want from them its far away from the center there... I was in Beijing for work and stayed in this hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable but not very new. Some carpets renovation is required. The service is very good, mineral water is provided every day to the room and also toiletries, slippers and more! The people at the reception are very helpful with everything you need,... More

We stayed at this hotel during a three day conference. Our first impression of the place was quite poor, as the porter, upon us politely requesting a trolly for our luggage, spat to his friend "they're not cripples, why can't they carry their own luggage?" This unpleasant incident clouded our entire stay. To be fair though, the rooms were clean... More

This hotel is something of an old favorite for the people I work and travel with - I am told it was one of the first international hotels in Beijing and for that reason my company have used it often and have grown fond of the place. However, for me this hotel is dated, in need of repair and modernization... More

We stayed here as the first hotel as part of a heritage tour. It is a very nice hotel with nice amenities, but needs some updating and some maintenance. We had issues with the shower and the door-lock, but to the hotel's credit, they fixed them promptly. The breakfast buffet is large with many good choices - both Western and... More

We had an excellent five-night stay in June 2014. Our family of four returned to China with our adopted daughters, ages 13 and 11. Beijing was our first stop on a ten-city tour. As pictured on the hotel's web site, rooms are clean and comfortable. Adjoining rooms are available. We accessed several areas during our stay, including the main restaurant,... More

My flight was canceled and the airline arranged for us to stay here overnight. The hotel is kinda dated, and it's evident from the way it's set up and the interiors of the public areas. I got a double room, and each of the double beds were reasonably wide and comfy enough. No complaints here. Most of the lights are... More

We stayed in this hotel one week and felt very comfortable. The rooms are nice and large (formerly Hiliday Inn). They are quite. Coffee and iron are provided in the room. Swimming pool is available (large indoor). The hotel is located about 17 km to Beijing Center and 17 Km to the Airport. By taxi estimate one hour transfer time.... More
