Great location - helpful staff, most of who speak some degree of English. Rooms are modern. If possible stay at the Executive wing, which has many free ammenities including a great breakfast buffet and a tempting cocktail hour. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant is a treat as well. more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel last May during our trip to China. This is an amazing hotel with unbelievable service. The rooms are exquisite! Close to the city center and very nicely appointed, having been recently renovated. Slightly noisy due to the main roads in close proximity but I wouldn't let that put you off because it's the case for many hotels in the center. We recently stayed at the Beijing Hilton. We were there for meetings. The location was very close my husbands business meetings so he could walk directly from the hotel. You can actually see the Forbidden City from our hotel room. We did walk back from Forbidden City but it was a bit of a walk. There are lots of shopping... more

The room was newly refurbished, the bed was excellent. There was a nice pool and also two squash courts. Very good place for the trips to the city, you are there with the taxi in about 5 minutes. more
