Booked a stay via Agoda and shown to reception. Arrived at 1PM which is the standard check-in period. They assigned a service staff whom seems very inexperienced and took quite some time to assist me. Had booked 2 rooms but told me only 1 room is cleaning now and the other is not available yet. Decided to go out for... More

Last stay a year ago. This time also for business. Service is still good but the room and decoration this time has shown some very minor sign of ageing. The room is non-smoking but I smelled tobacco when I stepped into the room. It went on for a while. When I came back to the room a few hours later,... More

We stayed 4 days on the Club floor. The staff at the club were great. Very helpful and attentive. Not to mention the food and drinks they serve throughout the day. Great sitting area and nice view. Rooms were decent size and deco was blend but clean. Nothing exceptional for this class of accommodation. Great gym. Must check out the... More

Room was great. Food in Main dinning room not so much and should be avoided. Chinese restaurant in hotel was excellent. Called Made in China has to be the best in Beijing. Hotel sits above a huge North American style shopping Mall with lots of Restaurants both local and North American fast food as well as all international brand stores.... More

I was a little disappointed in this hotel. It's a little dated and needs some updating. Rooms are ok but no good views. The executive lounge is one of the poorest I have encountered in Beijing. It does have a nice lobby and pool. Stay here is if they are having a sale or you can get a good deal.

We were stuck at hotel from Saturday 22 August 08:30pm until Sunday 23 August noon time, due to municipal special regulation. We did not receive a clear notice from hotel (I saw the notice by chance in the elevator on turday 22 August 07:00pm !) We asked for a compensation from hotel, at least free food, free drink or some... More

Went on a business trip to HK and flew to Beijing as an extended layover. Used 15k Hyatt points to get a room as a Diamond member and wow, what a nice experience. Arrived at noon and was promptly greeted for my check in downstairs. The front desk person asked me if I wanted to check in upstairs but I... More

I have to recognize that I like Hyatt as a brand. Company policy do not allow me to stay there very often as they are considered a luxury brand and/or are beyond company budget, but when I want to indulge myself or my family I tend to choose Hyatt. Like any other chain, Hyatt does not own the hotels, but... More

Luxurious hotel conveniently located in Central Beijing with easy access to shops and restaurants. Nice rooms with good facilities for business traveler but maybe bit tight for couple with suitcases. Spectacular pool and well worth a visit.

Probably the best looking pool I've ever seen! The Grand Hyatt is in a very optimum location in walking distance to Tiananmin Square and the Forbidden City. The hotel is located over a shopping mall which greatly expands your choice of restaurants especially if you'd prefer something less expensive than the hotel provides. Service in the hotel was great and... More
