Despite the lack of room temperature control, the rooms are large and well equipped. Unfortunately the beds are hard with very little give. Our friends were inconvenienced with the automated telephone calling them late into the night. They unplugged the phone after complaining got them nowhere. The next night the concierge came to their room to actually hear the phone... More

Stayed 3 nights at this Hotel with a Nexis tour group. This is quite large Hotel and a long way from the city, staff had limited English. We requested King room and received a room with twin beds not sure if this was an issue with the Hotel or Nexis. We requested a room change however as the Hotel was... More

Bed was like a lump of wood to sleep on but all the Chinese beds have been like this! The room was big clean and other than the bed comfortable with nice views over the courtyard out the back and when we woke up after a thunderstorm there were even views of distant mountains! Furniture in the room a little... More

I stayed here for two weeks whilst on business, nice room and pleasant staff. However the wifi is dreadful, struggles to load the simplest of pages. You get best results in the lobby, but that is still not great. It is a long way out from the center. Has a wide range of restaurants and a good breakfast.

I've stayed here now four times, a few snags before but none like what I was to experience. This time my room was prepaid and for some reason which I still fail to understand the reception staff would not take a swipe of my credit card to allow me to purchase stuff on credit. This seemed to be because the... More

Stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to my company's office in Beijing. It is a large hotel that caters for tour groups. I had a large room facing a garden area so it was sheltered from any road noise. This didn't make it a quiet room however as the between room noise was not good. Having an opening... More

We stayed a couple of nights as part of Nexus 10 Day China Tour in mid-November. This Hotel is a long way out from the main attractions of Beijing. As we had been to Beijing less that 12 months ago, we chose not to join the tour group for the Forbidden City outing and decided to rest and check out... More

I just returned from a work conference in Beijing and spent a week at the Loong Palace Hotel & Resort. The hotel looks impressive from the outside. It also looks very glamorous like a palace when you walk in the lobby. Indeed, it seems the common areas like restaurants, the lobby etc. are maintained in well-enough condition (although you still... More

The hotel is outside the main area of Beijing but if with a tour group you have no issues .Beijing is such a big city so look at what you are doing etc.About 1 hour from airport. The breakfast is good but like most of china food was not hot enough by western standards

We stayed at this hotel on our first nights in China as part of a Nexus Tour. It is a huge hotel, catering for tour groups and is a very long way from the centre. It has large comfortable rooms - some were even double story, and had kitchens. The kitchens were not equipped though. The front desk staff a... More
