First off, this hotel is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. It's a large, spacious 2.5-3 star hotel with extra amenities. The hotel makes a great first impression. The lobby is beautiful, the amenities are plentiful, but after you get to your room you'll begin to see behind the curtain. The beds are hard, the shower is dirty, and... More

They call this hotel a resort since it large with 6 restaurants, swimming pool, and even bowling alleys. Parking is limited so valet is available. Taxi stand at the lobby entrance. Rooms are spacious for Asian standards. Superior room has sitting area good for meals or watching TV. Large shower and separate tub. They have good air conditioning! Great prices... More

Stayed here as part of a tour group. We had a room on the 6th floor of the hotel, very happy with the service and amenities of the hotel. Room was always very clean and had everything we needed. Although a long way from the city center, it had no affect on our stay as our tour had a coach... More

Room was spacious and clean. Wifi worked better when in reception area. Breakfast was ok. Tour group organized masseuse and we opted in for hubby and I. Two women arrived however whilst tour guide advised to be in underwear and bathrobe they expected us to be wearing a t- shirt (took a while to understand as they didn't speak English).... More

Western Style amenities allow you to relax if the Asian culture is too demanding. Far from center Beijing can be good or bad. You miss some of the local flavor, but the metro is accessible and can get you anywhere.

In need of a lot of money to be spent on it to bring it back up to the standard it must have once had. Clean and quiet it meet our needs but it is a long way out of the city center. There are no local shops within walking distance. access to public transport is restricted. Furniture and carpets... More

Stayed here as part of a Nexus tour. The hotel looks fabulous if remote and it's obvious no expense was spared in it's construction from the view looking down the well towards the lobby from the top floor where our room was to the suite that we were given. However, the downsides were the rock hard bed and mean selection... More

This is one of the better hotels I have stayed in in China & the price is quite reasonable. The rooms are quite generously proportioned, the hotel air well filtered (Beijing air is not the best!), bed comfy and general infrastructure in good condition. The wifi even works which is a major plus All in all I haven't got anything... More

Despite the lack of room temperature control, the rooms are large and well equipped. Unfortunately the beds are hard with very little give. Our friends were inconvenienced with the automated telephone calling them late into the night. They unplugged the phone after complaining got them nowhere. The next night the concierge came to their room to actually hear the phone... More
